Keep your Intel-based system cool with the ATOM 30H from ZEROtherm. The 80mm fan sits on top of a heat sink with 2-lines of heatpipes. The copper base, high-density aluminum fins as well as the copper heatpipe provide optimal heat dissipation performance. This gives you 65W of cooling power -- perfect for lower power processors.

This already low noise level can be automatically lessened further during periods of low heat generation by using the integrated PWM functionality which lets the BIOS monitor fan performance and thermal need and adjust the fan's speed accordingly.

At just 30mm high, the ZEROtherm ATOM 30H cooler eliminates your worries about using a mini-sized computer case.

  • newegg Low Profile Measuring only 30mm in height, the ZEROtherm ATOM 30H cooler is slim enough to fit into your HTPC system and features aluminum skived fins for superior cooling performance.
  • newegg 80mm Fan with PWM The ZEROtherm ATOM 30H cooler is equipped with an 80mm fan with the PWM speed control for flexible cooling performance and noise level.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: small, easy to install, silent (compared to the case fan :))

Cons: - like in a previous comment, copper part touch component in any position
- in the manual they show right and wrong ways to put it, but it is not really clear

Other Thoughts: i dont know what to think:
- it helped me finish my box so its good :)
- when using vectorized images software heat goes up to 80C but not sure where its coming from ...
Using: zotac9300 + E52000 + Rosewill RC-SIX-01 BK

5 out of 5 eggsCool little mini itx cpu cooler

Pros: Great little cpu cooler that does well with my E5200 cpu that's running at stock speed. I'm using Arctic Cooling MX-2 thermal paste. I'd buy it again for another mini itx system.

Cons: The push pins are much easier to handle compared to the intel stock cpu cooler.

Other Thoughts: My mini itx system is housed in a Lian Li PC-Q7 case with a E5200 cpu, Zotac 630I mobo, 4gb GSkill ddr800 ram, Seagate 250gb sata hd, Samsung 183L dvdrw and of course the xerotherm low profile cpu cooler. If you haven't bought the xerotherm by now just BUY IT! It's a 5 egger!

3 out of 5 eggsWon't fit Zotac 9300 ITX mini-itx motherboard

Pros: Nice & compact design

Cons: The bottom (aluminum fins, copper pipe, etc.) are almost at the same level as the squarely copper heat transducer (the part that "touch" the cpu).
In my mini-itx motherboard (Zotac 9300 ITX) no matter which four ways I want to install it, it touch some of the components of the motherboard preventing the bottom copper to touch the CPU (or the pipes touch the RAM or chipset heat-sink)

Other Thoughts: Mini-itx motherboard are pretty cramp and the way this cooler is designed I don't think it'll work on some of them. Unfortunately there is no way to know this in advance until you buy it. Dimensions don't cover this level of detail.

5 out of 5 eggsGood for small spaces

Pros: Fits inside a Shuttle K45 (which is pretty tight). Cools an Intel Core 2 Duo better than the stock cooler. Seems relatively quiet - at any rate, any noise is drowned out by the Shuttle's PSU fan. Installation did not require removal of the Shuttle K45 mother board.

Cons: Not really cons, but ... doesn't cool as well as larger coolers (or at least the temp difference between it and the stock cooler is not as great as I have observed for larger after-market coolers on larger builds). Kind of flimsy mounting (although no more so than a stock cooler), but that's also a benefit, since it's pretty easy to install.

Other Thoughts: Shuttle sells its ICE cooling solution for about 4 times the cost of this - if you can even find it. For the Shuttle K45, mounting a quiet 92mm fan in the back of the case is also important to keep the temps down.

4 out of 5 eggsAcceptable

Pros: The cooler itself does quite well for such a small thing. Kept my e6320 at 30c idle.

Cons: The fan died. Cant blame it though. The pc was on 24/7, 1 week later the fan died.

Other Thoughts: Its okay though. I just switched out a standard intel heatsink fan with the one that died on this and it works beautifully!

4 out of 5 eggspritty good

Pros: Small, light, silent, easy instillation. Easily fit in a cramped ITX build.

Cons: The mounts that fasten it to the motherboard seem a little flimsy. The two tubes of thermal past that came with it did not have enough contents to sufficiently cover the processor. There is no guard surrounding the fan so wires, and other stragglers in your case can easily get caught in the blades. You just have to be creative with your cabling.

5 out of 5 eggsSmall Quiet fan

Pros: I used this to replace the stock fan on an Intel 2.5ghz dual core. It keeps it cool and fits into the mini-itx case below the blue ray drive.

Cons: The fan has no plastic frame around it making it easy to hit with cables.
