Use that spare, unused PCI card slot to get rid of excess hot air in your desktop. The AOC FC-2000 sleeve-bearing, system blower exhaust fan quickly installs into a vacant back-panel PCI opening. Using a turbine-style design, the 3,200rpm, 111mm fan pulls hot air from your PC's interior and forces it out the back. A simple connection to a standard 4-pin power port from the power supply is all that's needed for power.

  • newegg High Performance Operating at 3200 RPM, the AOC FC-2000 delivers strong air flow of up to 42 CFM for impressive levels of heat dissipation.
  • newegg High Reliability The ball bearing fan promises up to 50,000 hours of operating time for excellent reliability.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -pretty good amount of airflow
-reversible to pull air away from the direction you want it to, either up or down

Cons: -kinda loud

Other Thoughts: I purchased a few of these just to have them. They work great at helping keep a gpu or any other expansion card cooler. Or if you need more airflow in the case, but don't have any fan spots left, this is the perfect product.

At work, I installed one in a DVR I built to draw hot air away from the DVR pci card, and it kept the card much cooler than it was without this in the case.

3 out of 5 eggseh

Pros: eh

Cons: two pin non-controllable.. plugged it in, ran at around 800 rpm.. as another had suggested, pulled off the back and the rubber plug, and put some tri-flow on the bearing as it was running.. went up 2-3 times as fast... put it inside my build and it doubled the noise level.. out it came

Other Thoughts: you really shouldn't have to repair something that is new..it should do what it says it will... as for listed rpm.. overview says 3200 rpm... details say 2800 rpm.... package says 2200 rpm.... ??

3 out of 5 eggsQuiet and easy install, but just not for my system.

Pros: Quiet considering the amount of air it moves. You should barely be able to notice a difference in the noise volume of your system.

This thing moves a lot of air given its size and power use.

The bracket is swappable so you can flip the unit if you need to.

The molex connector has both male and female connections so you can run another device through it.

It is also easy to install and not too bulky.

Cons: It only has one control setting (but that should be good for drawing out some heat).

For some reason, my core temps went from an idle of 108 to 130ish after this was installed.

My PC shut off after about 5 minutes as it had got too hot to handle.

This is probably due to poor air flow in my system as well as my 2 GPUs and PSU sandwiching the fan.

Other Thoughts: Although it didn't work for me, I am sure that this is a well built product that will satisfy others.

Since the bracket is swappable, I was able to take it off and use it a PCI slot vent on the slot that I had removed.

Not a total loss, just not for me.

5 out of 5 eggsI own 5 of these in different computer builds

Pros: Moves A LOT of air. I run dual video card setups and have these fans pushing the hot air the cards produce directly out the back of the case.

Cons: These would be more efficent if they were 2-3 mm thinner. They have difficutly fitting between 2 video cards in PCI-E slots.

Other Thoughts: These fans are reversible, the metal piece that lacks into the PCI part of your computer deatches so the fan assembly can be reversed to face the opposite side. I have reversed all of the fans I own.

Two of these in a PC has reduced my video cards (I use 2 VC side by side, creating considerable additional heat) load temps by 12C.

A must own for any serious gamer.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid little blower

Pros: Easy to install (I mean, c'mon, it goes in any open expansion slot), easily reversible for fan up or down positioning, moves air, quiet enough to not be bothered by the sound, lightweight, inexpensive

Cons: Shorter life span than I'd hoped (dead after 2 years, 3 months), Molex only so make sure you've got the right plugs available.

Other Thoughts: I certainly got my money's worth out of this little fan. I'd needed the extra oomph to compete with scalding weather conditions and an already warm case situation (Always on, long gaming hours) and this helped. I'll definitely buy another PCI Slot fan to replace this one, and have one for future builds.

Did Antec buy these guys? There's a nearly identical fan on a competitor's site for the same price with a different label on the fan.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Blower for the price

Pros: - Moves a substantial amount of heat away from the PCI slot
- Was quiet, maybe too quiet?
- Not as quiet any more and more like a mini-vacuum (keep reading), but it blows after a good clean!
- a little vibration (after cleaning it went away)
- You can't go wrong with this

Cons: - Bearings were gunked up from factory. If you find this blower not pushing a whole lot of air (or too quiet for the CFM), this is why. I'm docking an egg for this.

Other Thoughts: I bought 3 of these, though I'm only using two (one is extra in case the mod went wrong). One is completely disassembled and serving as a duct, mounting externally (so it sucks air directly from the GPU instead of beside it). The working fan is ducted to the 80mm hole. Created an efficient vacuum with this blower. Discovered that using WD-40 to clean removes excess gunk from inside the bearings (two applications and it spun - loud). Now I applied some proper fan grease to it after cleaning the WD-40 off (never use WD-40 as a lubricant), and it works like a charm (better than whatever gunk they had in there). The vacuum-type noise this generates could be because I'm now push/pulling from two constrained tunnels, but it does for certain pull its rated CFM now ;D

4 out of 5 eggsMassive air flow

Pros: This thing flows a MASSIVE amount of air.

Cons: Maybe its me, but I couldn't find a way to control the fan's speed, and its a bit noisy at its current speed. Of course that's because it moving so much air. Not too much a con.

Other Thoughts: Make sure that you actually want a PCI slot fan. Take the air flow of your case into consideration.
