3 out of 5 eggsUnsure

Pros: 1. A large heatsink. Looks like it might do the job well.

2. Has a large fan equipped

Cons: 1. It comes with zero paperwork on how to install it, and if you're like me and haven't built a computer before, something like that is important. I even tried checking online for instructions and found nothing. I wound up just installing the stock heatsink that came with my CPU and, luckily, it's worked just fine.

Other Thoughts: I can't really pass to much judgement on this considering I haven't even installed it, but the manufacturers REALLY need to add some instructions with their parts. That seems to be a pretty important feature for a part like this, especially since not installing a heatsink properly can lead to serious problems.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Has been cooling my AMD FX 4300 for 9 months now...Still works as good as the 1st day I installed it. The computer is used as the family computer. Gets turned on 1st thing in the morning and shut down last thing at night

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: didnt need a new base to connect it to which was nice. looks a lot more solid than the picture would lead you to believe. i like the blue fan

Cons: maybe its just me but i prefer to have air pulled off my cpu instead of blowing onto it. seems to cool much better being pulled off instead of on. especialy with my exhaust fan right next to the cpu fan. ive yet to see if i can switch it around to blow air off .

5 out of 5 eggsOverperforms

Pros: Small enough to fit in my micro ATX case with no problems.
FX 6300 CPU now runs 20-25 degrees.
Seemed very stable overclocked at 4.2...ran it there for weeks.
Far exceeded my expectations...glad I took a chance on it.

Cons: Not really a con, others may like the look of the blue fan but for me it looks like a cheap toy.

3 out of 5 eggsGets the Job Done

Pros: A welcome improvement over the completely insufficient AMD stock cooler which, no matter what anyone says, is totally incapable of cooling a 125W part like the FX 6300.
I no longer have to worry about the CPU fusing to the motherboard with heat, or melting a hole in the case. Plus, the room never fills with smoke or smells like melting plastic.

Cons: Loud. Pretty distracting, actually. Doesn't really justify the price point. Don't even bother unless it's on sale.

Other Thoughts: I'd look elsewhere if you're want to be completely satisfied. But this thing can get the job done.

4 out of 5 eggsCPU cooler

Pros: Nice looking, fan color blue, not to noisy for me...I like noise and with all 8 of my other fans running can't hear this one lol. Dropped my cpu temps by 15 to 25 degrees celsius. A substantial drop from my stock cooler.
tight fit but exactly fits my board.
Not to tall
ram fits in there and I have a AS930 rock board with an AMD FX 6300 cpu six core 4.1 ghz and it fit in my mid tower and on the board tight but great.

Cons: if any, the thermal grease that comes with this....come out of the package and into the garbage. come on guys. I see the packaging had a large area were a larger grease used to fit in the plastic mold. And they take that out and put this junky stuff in there. So you NEED to buy a better grease with this cooler, but for the price it is not bad, and grease is cheap.

Other Thoughts: Really cool looking, nice layout, I like the engine block look to it. Almost like a tiny looking motor with a big fan on top. I thought it would not fit in my mid atx tower, with a micro atx board. with all my fans etc... but based on another review, found it would be tight but would fit. He was right, it was tight, and I alos bought a secondary heat grease,( the one that comes with it is pathetic...buy a good one) I layed it on the cpu nice and even like. Had to finess the cooler in there and use a couple demagnatized small screwdrivers to get the clips on, but fit great.

5 out of 5 eggsworks great

Pros: cools my amd fx 6300 big time while gaming and stay quite a while under heavy load the max temp stock clock is at 44 celcius

Cons: the package says 125 watts support and for some reason the specs on its website says it support only 95 watts cpu

Other Thoughts: good price for a stock fan replacement and very quite

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Replacement for old Meat Cutter

Pros: Quiet does the job well. When I received the actual product I was pleasantly surprised that it had a higher build fit and finish that what was even pictured.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsBig Bang, Small Buck

Pros: A fantastic cooler for the $$$. After the $35 scythe shuriken rev.b failed to outperform my stock FX8350 cooler I took it back and gave this one a try. It out preformed both coolers. It is a great low profile cooler and keeps my FX4100 clocked at 4.4GHz nice and cool.

Cons: None what so ever!!

Other Thoughts: I was using my stock cooler from my FX 8350 on my FX 4100. The stock cooler is very loud but worked well. This cooler is quiet, cools a 4.4GHz FX4100 and is priced exceptionally well.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT!

Pros: -Not too big
-Not too small
-Quiet
-Cools my AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition perfectly

Cons: This was one of the more difficult CPU heatsink/fans that I have installed over the years, but once you get it figured out it's pretty simple.

Other Thoughts: I was running Watch Dogs with TheWorse mod on higher settings and my proc would get to 70-73 C and stick there. With this cooler, Watch dogs never runs it above 54 degrees C
