LOGISYS Computer IC4300X4 92mm Hydro Theta X4 LGA 1366 Intel CPU Cooling

Pros: Decent price compared to other heat sinks/fans available. Very quiet, even when running at full speed.

Cons: Item looks like it was a return that bypassed CQ and was shipped off as if it were new. The box had marks on it that showed it had been opened and there were fingerprints all over the thermal paste.

Other Thoughts: Not worth the time, shipping cost, and hassle to return to manufacturer. Strike one Logisys....

Pros: low noise, runs processor very cool

Cons: only one very hard to get locks to engage in motherboard

Other Thoughts: very quick delivery

Pros: Inexpensive

Cons: Cheaply built, cheap thremal paste pre-applied, CPU fan error message at startup, basically DOA, runs my i7 about 8 degrees C HIGHER than the stock CPU cooler!

Other Thoughts: Temp would often spike more than 10 degrees with this thing before it would spin up. This may have just been because it was defective. As always, Newegg made this right with a refund for the defective part.

Pros: Fan runs quietly, even on full power. Heat-sink design seems to be efficient as it keeps my CPU running cool even with the fan unplugged.

Cons: The bracket sticks out past the edge of the socket area and touches some of the surrounding components. Could just be my board, see below.

Other Thoughts: Does not fit the server motherboard I have. The board has a screw-type mount and this model has the push in plastic stand-offs. Not sure if this is just a misunderstanding on my part.
