LOGISYS Computer IC221PWM 92mm Hydro Theta 21 PWM Intel LGA 1156 CPU Cooling

Pros: This thing is so quiet. I literally couldn't even hear it once i closed my case. The thing spins at about 1400RPM for me right now. The circle enclosure for the fan itself makes it very efficient as well. The air pushes down on the heat sink much more directly with out loss of pressure. It looks really cool too, the center of the fan has a hologram and looks especially cool under blue LED's. My core i7 ivy processor has spiked to 78c under its heaviest loads playing star craft 2 and streaming HD videos. Its rated for 105c before it overloads. The best fan heat sink u can probably get if you aren't gonna do liquid cooling.

Cons: Nada

Pros: very quiet, keeps (or "kept" to be more correct) system cool

Cons: plastic screws that hold the heatsink in place are useless.... please abandon this design.

1) was relatively difficult to get them popped into the mobo; one or two would never stay in place. finally got it down to one..... ok, i probably shouldn't, but i can live with that; the heatsink felt pretty tight and the running temp was ok.

2. 6-7mo down the road, I opened the case just to realize that 3 out of 4 screws broke off due to plastic deterioration from age. The one that didn't was the one that would not work from the start;

the only reason the heat sink is still on there is because of the compound and the fact that the CPU lies horizontally... surprisingly the temp is still fine, but i wouldn't take my eyes off of the temp sensors.

Other Thoughts: I think logisys makes decent fans, but this particular model design is full of flaws.... stay away from this model.

Pros: Incredibly silent. I have 3 case fans, and an old PSU in the system as well... I cannot hear a thing from my fans at all. Very good fan.

Cons: None yet

Pros: Processor used to run at ~95 while playing games, this ones keeps it at around 70.

Cons: Not easy to install for some reason. Couldn't quite figure out why, but it was a bit difficult getting the pegs in. I'm still not going to take any chances jostling my case around.

Other Thoughts: Good deal for the price, just wish there were more choices for L1155 heatsinks on the market.

Pros: None

Cons: Broken when received. Mounting screw for mounting bracket had screw head poped off. Could have been fixable, but the plastic securing mount broke as well rendering heatsink useless.

Other Thoughts: Cheaply made. Would not recommend.

Pros: Fit the mobo holes...cpu is cool at idle at around 28 degrees celcius

Cons: Haven't even tried overclocking my nice new i5 2500k since even at stock speeds when I run prime 95 for only about 2 minutes this thing allows my cpu to heat up to it's thermal limits. I sat and watched to make sure it didn't go too high and once it hit 72 degrees celcius I stopped the test. Re-seated heatsink, re-applied thermal paste, re-tried test...same sheet different moment. And yes, my case airflow is great. It can't even keep up to a decent test at stock speeds...don't waste your money. Wish I still had my stock Intel fan/heatsink, now what does that tell you?

Other Thoughts: Nice blue color, for those that care about something that doesn't matter.

Pros: Efficient cooling, silent, and looks awesome
