5 out of 5 eggsI love this little baby

Pros: Excellent little cooler for my unclocked i7, always cool to the touch, and the fan being PWM on an intel MB, again unclocked, the fans rpm is very low and therefore dead silent. love it

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: ...if you need more heatsink... just get the PVM Theta 31

5 out of 5 eggsGood Enough

Pros: Works great in antec isk 150, is quiet on normal/low dropped temps with artic silver nano diamond about 3-5c.

USES BACK BRACKET VS CHEAP INTEL CLIPS.

Cons: nothing really.

Other Thoughts: Nice cooler does about the same work of many $40.00 around this profile and size.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good, but made my motherboard not fit.

Pros: Good fan, cools well, pretty easy to install

Cons: has a backplate. Caused my motherboard to be raised off of the back of my case, causing the screws to be too short to attach my motherboard. I ended up having to return it because of this.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesomeness

Pros: Uses screws to hold fan in place. CPU(i3 540 clarkdale) idles at 36c, maximum temp seen so far is 45c.

Cons: Wish I would have known that it came with thermal gel pad pre loaded, so I didn't waste $10 bucks on the arctic silver.

Other Thoughts: I always hated the plastic pop in clamps on the standard heat sinks, it never seemed to hold tightly enough for me. This one is perfect, though unless your case supports back access to your mother board, all mine do, I can see it being a pain to install on a after market upgrade.

4 out of 5 eggsNice little cooler

Pros: Installation was a breeze if you know what your doing. And yes the plastic bracket goes behind the board the heat sink goes on-top of the CPU.

Keeps my corei5 2400 around 40c idle and 60c under load.
nice low profile cooler for a micro ATX media center box.

Cons: Not for someone who wants to overclock.

1 out of 5 eggsNoisier than intel stock cooler

Pros: Works as a fan

Cons: No advantage compared to the i7 intel stock cooler; when comparing side by side, it's actually noisier (high pitched whine). I am super-unhappy with having spent the money and then having had to rip out the fan again :(

Other Thoughts: Ought to have tried both side by side before mounting; got impatient.

5 out of 5 eggsgo to u-tube

Pros: fast ship, looks great

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Look, you have to take the black mounting bracket off and it goes underneath the motherboard. Then mount your heat sink and push the spring loaded screws down and thread, please only a little at a time and go kitty corner as not to twist too much. If you have issues go to u-tube and watch a video. I hate it when people RA stuff because the are ignorant.

4 out of 5 eggsOk fan

Pros: I bought this heat sink fan after the one that came with my intel cpu died. The fan is incredibly quiet and cools my cpu very nicely.

Cons: This fan comes with no instructions on how to install it. I had to go to youtube to figure it out.

Other Thoughts: This is the first after market fan i bought and I am pleased with it.

3 out of 5 eggsDoes not fit on intel motherboard

Pros: Looks good, but I can't review performance.

Cons: I bought this as a beginner enthusiast for installing on a new build. The DH77EB socket 1155 board does not accomidate this fan. This motherboard is sized as Mini-ATX and there are capacitors and pads in the way of the plastic piece that mounts the screw posts for the mounting installation. I ended up using the stock fan that has mounting posts instead of screws. The holes on this motherboard were designed for posts instead of screws anyways.

Other Thoughts: No choice, but to return for refund unless I wanted to save a personal inventory of unused parts. Over two dollars for first shipping cost and over one dollar for RMA.
