5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's super quiet and it doesn't make any clicking noises when mounted horizontally.

Cons: The rubber "screws" feels sort of flimsy but they seem to be doing the job.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the price!

Pros: Well built.
Includes a lot of accessories.
Looks good
Works fine.
Ball bearing

Cons: A little loud for a 1300 rpm fan
40000 hours of estimated run time is low for a ball bearing fan, worried about long term operation.

Pros: Silent, slow and slower

This thing "fee" silent with "rubberizzed" frame to reduce vibration.
nice and quite, 2 speeds using in-line resistor.
BETTER than the "other blue fans" Moves decent air

Cons: not a jet but then its quite

4 out of 5 eggsGood airflow, quiet, cheap sale price!

Pros: Cheap sale price ($8 ea!), good airflow, completely silent with included 7V cable adapter, good build quality, "rubberized" housing helps reduce vibration/reverberation, hydraulic fluid bearings, multiple cable adapters and rubber mounting pins included

Cons: none so far!

Other Thoughts: Newegg info/product page has these listed as dual ball bearing, but when I received them was pleasantly surprised to find that they are actually hydraulic/hydrodynamic fluid bearing! Best $8 fan purchase ever!

5 out of 5 eggsBest fan in my case

Pros: I've used a LOT of different fans and this is a GREAT offering! I love the full rubber housing/fins. Very quiet without being wimpy!

Cons: not available in 120mm or 200mm

Other Thoughts: Though a little pricy this fan is a great choice for those needing a lot of airflow while still maintaining a civil noise level

3 out of 5 eggsGood fans for 12$

Pros: They were on sale for 12$ when i purchased one. They are worth maybe 15$ but surely not the ridiculous 32$ retail.

Cons: When they start up, they make a big rattling noise like if something was hitting the propellers.

Not that quiet even at 7-5V

Other Thoughts: Decent ball bearing fan for horizontal use but i might just buy a quieter one

4 out of 5 eggsYeah. Good. About what I expected.

Pros: Very nice design in my opinion. At any but the maximum speed, it's pretty much silent. At the maximum speed, there is some noise, but to my ears anyway, it's the sound of air moving, not the sound of a noisy fan. An assortment of attachments, etc. Including a resistor pack if you want to permanently down-speed the fan. Total air volume moved is considerably more than the stock 120mm fan my case (Corsair Carbide 300R) came with. Definitely saved me a degree or two on massive overclocks, which is what I was after.

Cons: Dumbest rubber mounting pins I ever saw. There were similar rubber pull-throughs on an Enermax fan I bought, and those actually worked, and hold the fan extremely securely to the case. THESE, however, I don't know. I can't even be sure I've used them correctly because (as another reviewer also pointed out) it seems not entirely secure. I don't know. All of this was massively complicated by (you guessed it, as the other reviewers also say) there is no real instructions in here (what little there is don't even mention the rubber pullthroughs or mounting at all). Nothing either on the ridiculous web site.

Other Thoughts: I got these on a ridiculous sale. Less than half of the normal price. As a result, I am happy. Had I paid full price though, I'd have been not satisfied. At the full price, I'd expect better instructions, better mounting pins, etc.

Also, so you know, I'm getting just under 1400 RPM at full blast, which is faster than the 1200 +/- 10% that they specified. If I lower it to 1200 RPM through software, it's much quieter. From a dead stop, it needs 45% PWM setting in speedfan to start reliably, and it holds at a nice ~450RPM, considerably more range (450-1400) than what the specs say to expect (700-1200).

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a Nice Fan

Pros: -Cheap (when on sale)
-Lots of accessories
-Great build quality
-Looks nice
-NO STUPID LED's

Cons: -The noise level on 12v is a little much for my tastes, so I have it plugged into the included 7v harness. Problem solved.

Other Thoughts: I got it on sale for $11. I don't think you can find a better fan for the price.
