4 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for.

Pros: Works better than stock cooler.
Nice blue fan for anyone looking for a blue color scheme.
Setup is easy goes straight into AMD motherboard.

Cons: Fan is considerably loud. I can hear it over everything else and very easily even though I have a Fractal Define R4 which is supposed to make everything silent.
Has a 3 pin connector instead of a 4 pin connector.

Other Thoughts: I tried hooking the fan in both the cpu-fan and sys-fan and it didn't make a difference to sound. Which sometimes it does help for other things.
It's a good cpu if you don't mind the sound. Basically you get what you pay for. if you're looking for a little more grab a Enermax ETS-T40-BK Black. It gives a lot better performance for a little extra money. Plus it has the same black and blue color scheme and even comes with an blue led on the fan.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: works well for cooling my non oc'd FX-6300.

Cons: Too loud for my liking and I'm shopping to replace it.

Other Thoughts: I can't compare this to the stock fan and sink as I went with this from the start. I have a well vented case and the noise from this fan at full speed is annoying.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent performance

Pros: Cheap, it works, very easy install, and looks pretty good too.

Cons: Not really a con but , would NOT recommend using the thermal paste provided, as it is unlabeled. I used Arctic silver 5, Always a good choice.

Other Thoughts: I have an Athlon X2 2.7 ghz that was getting hot and the fan started to sound like a jet plain at 3200 rpm! At idle i was getting 58 degrees C. and 62 degrees C under load. now this new heat sink and fan dropped my idle down to 51 degrees C and 58 under load (Playing modestly complex games). Great performance for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Cooler

Pros: Good enough cooling
Quiet
Thermal paste not pre-applied, and there's just enough
Lots of fins on heatsink, copper heatpipes

Cons: Design (not really a con, but it is less effective than CPU coolers designed for a cross-breeze)

Other Thoughts: Better than the other cooler I've used, and the fan fits perfect in a Xion XON-720P case I put it in: fits rather flush with the side / vent holes in the case, and the fan's design mostly prevents pulling air from inside the case. Probably the most effective generic cooler I could've bought for the case based on design.

For a bigger build, a vertically aligned heatsink/fan combo will still likely cool better than this. As far as basic design however, this is a pretty good cooler. Given it's not strained much on an AMD A4-4000, rarely exceeds 40C under load in a room sitting around 27C.

3 out of 5 eggsWeak

Pros: Looks decent, it's quiet.

Cons: Not meant for powerful CPU's. My AMD FX-8350 overheated while I was rendering a video my CPU was at 100% for about 30 minutes and that's all it took, the cooler couldn't keep up and the CPU reached around 80c and shut off. I ordered a new cooler so if you want this one I'll put it on E - bay for $10.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid, better than stock cooler

Pros: Feels like a quality component. Keeps my AMD Athlon II x4 630 very cool. Able to fit in most cases.

Cons: The fan is louder than I was hoping. Defintely not for an HTPC in a regular size room. Its still better than the stock cooler, but I'm still looking for a less noisy component.

Other Thoughts: I'd recommend for a PC where fan noise is not a concern. It does was it is supposed to - just not the best for a htpc application.
