No suprises
- Pros: Very clear highs and decent midrange. The musical detail is good for a rather inexpensive set of 2.0 speakers. These speakers will even get fairly loud for their size and they do not distort until close to maximum volume.
- Cons: Disappointing bass response. The worst part is how the volume cuts out in the presence of lower frequency bass, even at lower volume levels. The sound also has a rather plasticy resonance to it. The volume knob is poorly designed as it is rather difficult to grip it with its slick, tapered shape.
- Other Thoughts: Overall, not a terrible speaker set. These speakers do not have a very good bang for the buck ratio though and I simply would not recommend these for anyone who likes bass intensive music.
Little Speakers, Lotta Power
- Pros: Non-square shape, rich silver color, two cords (one for each speaker) in addition to the outlet cord, lightweight.
- Cons: Little skimpy on the bass output, if you know what to look for. Being a big fan of rich tones and full-volumned sounds, this speaker set packs a punch in its small packaging, but as mentioned, a little chintzy on the bass/MHz end.
Another con: what is it with these mfcs making computer speakers and the need for a single green dot indicator light? How about putting a n indicator light around the speaker, in an aurora-like ring rather than a concentrated spot of light? Bad to use at night if you're trying to sleep, cuddle, or enjoy the output of Luther or Marvin :).
- Other Thoughts: I'd purchase these speakers again.
A little bit disappointed
- Pros: These speakers are nice and small.
The sound is acceptable, but there is some hiss.
- Cons: They don't have near the sound quality as some decent Logitech speakers that I have.
