Decent
- Pros: Among the speakers in the similar price range, this pair of speakers are not as bad as some makes it sound. They are small, easy to hook up, and sound reasonably clear.
- Cons: Lacks on the low end, but that's really to be expected since it's a 2.0. The LED is quite old school for a pair of speakers that looks this cool.
- Other Thoughts: For an entry level speaker, its among the better ones.
great little speakers
- Pros: These are great if you need something to tote around. The sound quality is decent for what it is, and that it is powered by a USB port (5 volts at .5 amps). I was doing electrical work in a convention center with these hooked up to my laptop. With these on the stage I could clearly hear them from about anywhere in the building. It wasn't the clearest sound in the world, but it worked.
- Cons: For the price, and for what it is, I don't really have a con. For those saying that it's horrible quality, go get a $500 set of speakers, cause these are not them.
I gave 4 out of 5 eggs just because of the slight distortion at higher volume levels. I just thought it probably could have used about another watt or so of amplification, and that distortion would have cleared up.
- Other Thoughts: I got this set at a local store for about $5 cheaper.
For what they are they're great speakers.
- Pros: Great Speakers for the price. This is the 3rd set of Altec Lansing speakers that I have owned and I have been happen with all of them.
