Pros: They were quite simple to set up (5 minutes total time from unpacking to removing my old pair and setting up these). The tone control with the center indent is great for tuning sound to your taste without having to look at the controls . The top ported design for Bass accentuates the low frequencies making the T10 sound far bigger and more expensive than they really are. Very low priced, not boomy once set to your particular source material. Even tough they are an older set from Creative, I chose the T10's for their dual driver design,
power handling, and smooth frequency response across the board. Tested with various media, they always sounded neutral, yet bigger in sound than what you'd for a PC Stereo Speaker set at this price point. They may be dated by today's gamers, youtubes, and the like, yet they still offer plenty of quality sound form cabinets so small, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better sounding unit at this level.

Cons: I have to get used to the 2 buttons, power/ volume and the bass/treble buttons being so closely spaced to gether since I find myself throwing the settings off once I have them set to my taste.

Other Thoughts: I would definitely recommend the T10's to anyone looking for a moderately priced 2.0 PC Speaker Set. You could expect to pay upwards of 2-3 times the price for sound like this elsewhere. Newegg comes through with another HIT, in my book !

Other Thoughts: I use these in my office. I didn't want 2.1 speakers because of space restrictions and the hassle of extra wires so I settled on these. I was expecting the usual no-bass, hollow sound of low-end 2.0 computer speakers, and that's just how they sounded when I first plugged them in. However, after I tweaked the software graphic equalizer in my computer, these speakers really came alive! They sound good at low and high volume levels with plenty of bass without distortion, especially considering there is no sub woofer. I was impressed with these speakers and recommend that you stop reading this now and buy some for yourself.

Pros: I have been a musician in the past and I work on computers for a living so I go through and try out a lot of audio equipment. I have had this same set since 2008 or 2009. I just bought a new set for a custom desktop set-up in his kitchen. My T10 speakers are identical in all ways. They still produce the same sound as the new set I just bought here in 2016. I have pushed them to their limits countless times and they still have no distortion what so ever. I couldn't be happier with these speakers. The sound you get is loud and great quality as long as you know how to tweak your audio settings within your computer's audio software. High, Mids and lows are all there. Find an equalizer and you have great sound out of these things. For the money I spent on these, they are a steal. If you are looking to boom your neighborhood block, add a woofer. If not, this will completely fill about 1000 sq ft of your home if you know how to tweak your audio settings.

Cons: I don't really have any for these being a desktop speaker config.

Other Thoughts: It would be nice if they were speaker mount ready for wall or stand applications. Unfortunately they are not. They are just desktop speakers.

- Good base that can make my desk shake
- No noticable static unless you turn the volume all the way up
- Built-in headphone and mic jack

Cons: The speakers turn off after a couple of minutes of non-use to conserve energy. This would be fine except you miss the first couple of seconds of audio when they kick back on, and it doesn't seem possible to disable this feature.
I docked a single egg because this feature should be optional.

Other Thoughts: I've owned these for a few weeks, and they are definitely superior to any speaker setup I've ever used for my PC. These are great for gaming, movies, music and everything else I do. These sound nearly as good as my SteelSeries 5Hv3 headset, except now I can hear other people in the room, too.

I'm no audiophile, but one can't do without decent sound.

Cons: I've used these for just about a year. A couple days ago I noticed no sound was coming out of the right speaker, but the left one works just fine. Since I use headphones most of the time it may have been going on a while, and I just didn't notice.

Other Thoughts: In my opinion, speakers are speakers. It's not worth fussing over one no longer working after a year of use. I may buy them again. I may buy something else.

Cons: There is absolutely 0 bass with these things. I'm not one of those bass junkies that likes to rattle my walls and I rarely turn this over 1/3 of the way up, but I do expect to hear some low end! A bunch of the reviews I read claimed that the bass was decent. Let me assure you there is almost none! I really regret buying these. If I had a chance to go back I would have spent my money on something else.

Pros: Easy setup. Small footprint on the desktop. The added bonus of auto-power down when not in use. Great sound for the size with music, movies, games.

Don't worry, there is a mesh filter that stops small objects from being stuck in the base port hole at the top.

Cons: The cord to connect the two speakers was barely enough to reach across my tv. Not a big deal because it's a universal plug
