Features

Features
Music to match your style
A perfect combination of style and performance, the Inspire T10 is a revolutionary breakaway from traditional speaker design. With a glossy finish augmented by an acoustically slanted front, the Inspire T10 re-introduces desktop speakers in a whole new light, be it for your PC, Mac or MP3.

More music, more detail
Imagine being able to pick up even the soft clamour of a "Ride" cymbal in a slow rock song. With a dedicated tweeter and two-way design, you can fully appreciate performances that are rich in high frequencies, such as those with clarinets and strings.

All bass, less space
The exclusive space-saving BasXPort means you don't really need an additional subwoofer to enjoy deep bass music. Acoustically engineered to enhance the lower midrange, BasXPort channels the sound waves efficiently from the inner chamber to the soundstage. What you get is music that has more weight - without a third box.

Extended listening
The built-in headphone jack and AUX In connector makes it easy to plug in your headphones for private listening, or play music from your MP3 player or any other analog audio devices.

4 out of 5 eggsSpace Savers - not much bass

Pros: Clear sound. Quality design, heavy so they stay in place, attractive, Creative Lab reliability

Cons: Mediocre to poor bass (subjective) compared to just about any 2.1 speaker system. Price vs sound makes this a little pricey for what you get.

Other Thoughts: I don't want a "hip-hop" sound, but these don't really produce any type of low-end base. They are great space savers and produce fine mid and upper range sounds. OK for under $40 price range. If you have room, buy a Creative Labs 2.1 speaker system in the same price range for a wider, more pleasing frequency range.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Little Guys

Pros: Size is nice... Too small and lite will flop around every time you sneeze, too large is cumbersome... These are perfectly sized and mildly heavy.

Sound is great... Highs are SUPER SUPER high! You can adjust the "tone" to really emphasize the highs, and believe it or not, you can adjust it "too high". You have to tone them down a bit to sound great. This is a good thing as most speakers need to be adjusted to their MAX to sound good.

Bass is decent... They have bass air ports. They are definitely helpful. For the size, they have very REAL sounding bass. Nice Nice... even when playing from my cell phone.

Price is right! $45 is superb.

They look great! They are stylish looking. They are a nice touch to my studio.

They don't clip out with loud mids and highs.

Cons: nothing so far.

Other Thoughts: My sister bought a pair of $99 speakers that are the same size as these, but made by a famous speaker company that rhymes with "nose". While the speakers definitely sounded good, I was seriously disappointed when I "tested" them by turning up the volume. I thought they were going to be unreasonably great. These $45 speakers are every bit as good or better than those $99 speakers.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent choice

Pros: Clear sound, not overly "boomy" (like some 2.1 speakers are), and can provide good volume for a med/large room. No buzz or humming. Attractive in a studio monitor kind of way. Good value.

Cons: Can't provide the bass-heavy sound desired by bass hounds or hip-hop lovers. If you want that, get 2.1 speakers with a sub. Distance between speakers can only be separated by 3 feet.

Other Thoughts: I had a set of 2.1 speakers and couldn't get a decent sound for anything but action movies and music with a lot of bass. I wanted something more rounded for subtle dialogue and low-volume listening. I was looking for 2.0 speakers and these fit the bill. 5 watts per speaker (RMS) is plenty of volume for my 12'x20' bedroom and I've never wanted for more volume than they can provide.
A nice feature is the line-in on the side of the speakers doesn't cut the sound from the main input so if you have an mp3 player providing sound through the line-in, you can still get system sounds from your computer.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap != Bad Sound

Pros: Excellent sound - speakers actually sound better than what their specs advertise!
BasXPort makes basses nice without needing a 2.1 setup. Of course, it will sound better with a subwoofer, but like most people, I don't want a subwoofer in their computer. Basses are still excellent!
Size of speakers are nice and compact but still can generate a lot of sound!
Easy setup!
Has headphone jack in right speaker - convenient.
Price!
And aesthetics - it looks nice on my desk!

Cons: For some people, they may prefer a longer distance between speakers - cord may not be sufficient. For me, it worked out perfectly.
Other than that, I can't really find anything wrong with them!

5 out of 5 eggsGood speaker for the price

Pros: Good bass and price is nice

Cons: Wish I could have bought two.

Other Thoughts: I needed some new Speakers for my dell dimension C521 I have been look at these for a while but I couldn't buy them when I got the money I did. I was blow away by how good those speakers are When I plug it in, too bad I didn't have cash to buy two of them because Logitech S-120 speakers are small and tip over easily overall I love these Speakers great and the price isn't bad. BasXPort is really good save you the trouble of buying a sub-woofer if you want to upgrade your speakers get these.

Nice 2-speaker system at modest price

Good overall sound. Separate drivers for bass and treble are matched well. Appears to be solidly built, with noticeable heft ...
