The power is included in the speaker to add weight to it. GREAT! No oversized power-brick to add to clutter. This gets 5 stars for this alone. Sound quality is everything a $25 speaker system could expect. Cons: No headphone-mic jack. UGH. I prefer speakers with an easily accessed, clearly visible headphone jack. The A60s offer no headphone jack at all, nor a mic connector. This earns it 1 star, and is the reason I don't buy more of these. Other Thoughts: The side controls for the lit-up Power button and the separate side wheel volume control are OK. Nothing special. The 1-star lack of headphone jack offsets the wonderful 5-star "no power brick" advantage so this evens out to a "3 star" overall rating. I have tested these with different types of music and at high levels. Really clear for cheap speakers. I wouldn't recommend doing that for a long period of time. No problems so far. Cons: None so far. Other Thoughts: If there are any problems that arise remember that these speakers are only $20. So no death metal at 1000 decibels and these are not 5.1 or 7.1 speakers. Cons: THE RIGHT SPEAKER STOPS WORKING CONSTANTLY only way to make them work is to turn the speaker off then turn it on again !! then i listen to something and it stops working again ! faulty switch. not mailing these back to new egg when they cost 20 dollars !!!!
