1 out of 5 eggsNot as good as they use to be!

Pros: Look nice ok on sound, base is way too much distorts even at low volume. Hard to control the base. I have the Creative Sound Blaster Zx card. Sound cards are great, speakers not so great.

Cons: After a month or two it stopped working no sound. RMA it back to Creative. Cost $40.00 to ship it back. They replaced it with new system and right out of the box the right channel does not work. Can not see getting a RMA again and spend another $40.00 to return it. So a bad buy.

Other Thoughts: Creative needs to improve their speaker systems. My old speakers I purchased over 10 years ago that is Creative P5800 still rocks but now I'm have to take them from my other computer and use them on my new computer.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter then I expected!

Pros: *Compact
*Easy Setup
*Awesome Sound

I have to say, I expected really good sound because I still have a set of Cambridge Soundworks / Creative 3500 series 5.1 surround system that I've owned for about 10 years. They still work but the volume control knob is starting to go out, touch it and you lose the sound until you wiggle it and find a good spot again, so it was time for a new set.

The T6300 not only equaled the performance, but surpassed it. Really amazing sound from this set. Clarity is amazing, separation of lows and highs is great. And though it's only 57 total Watts, it really puts out the sound.

I have a set of Logitech Z-5500 505 Watt 5.1 system on another setup in the house, and I have to say, I'm thinking the sound from the T6300 is clearer, just not a powerful.

Cons: Probably like a lot of folks, speaker wires too short. 4 ft. from floor mounted sub woofer to desktop is just not enough length. I had to buy RCA Extensions M to F 3 ft. for the front left speaker and center speaker, and (2) 10 ft. extensions for the rear speakers.

The only con I had, but knew it before purchasing, so I already had on order the extensions, problem solved!

Other Thoughts: I will just throw this out there, I saw at least one review stating that the (3) small satellite speakers were DOA. If it's the first time connecting 5.1 speaker system to your computer, it's probably defaulting to 2.0 or 2.1 speakers, so it's not seeing the (3) new speakers.

Fix: go to Control Panel/Hardware and Sounds/Sound

On the pop-up menu, in the list, find Speakers with the green checkmark or the word "Default" under them.

Right click on that one and click "Configure"

Select 5.1 Surround, click "Test" then work through the Wizard by clicking the next button about 3 to 4 pages, then click "Finish"

You should now hear sound from the (3) smaller satellite speakers or Center and Left rear, Right rear.

Hope that helps!

5 out of 5 eggsSpeakers Creative

Pros: Ya it sounds great. This is my second creative speakers I have had. The first set is still working great I use on my TV. And what is even better with Creative speakers is Creative Sound Blaster card. That really wakes those speakers up. Like the new style of the speakers and subwoofer. I know these will last as long and performs very well for a long time. My first set is over 10 years old and still ROCKS

Cons: Have nothing bad to say..

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Sounding speakers

Pros: The Speakers have a great sound

Cons: The center speaker sucks, It doesn't have a mount to set it on the monitor, so it has to sit in front or behind the monitor. This is a terrble design

Other Thoughts: Creative needs to take a lesson from Logitech, Logitech has the center speaker designed so it sits sideways and has a mounting adapter so it can sit on top of monitor. Go back to the drawing board on this one, or just make 2.1 speaker systems

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Speakers for Solid price

Pros: There great solid budget speakers for PC's. I switched over to creative here after the sub on my Logitech Z506 set had its magnet crack. They speakers are much more crisp and clean sounding over Logitech speakers and I personally like the look of these better. They also get very loud but obviously these aren't top notch speakers so if you really push the volume the sound quality begins to dwindle.

Pro List
- Crisp clear sound
- Nice design
- Great price
- Full 5.1 channeled (didn't have to fight my sound card to get them to work properly unlike my logi's)

Cons: The Cons now here are some things that kinda bummed me out with them. The speaker wires especially for the front Set are very short and I barely had enough room for the left speaker to go from the Desk to the Sub on the floor. Also there is no specific center speaker. The center speaker is just a copy speaker of the rear speakers technically being a center speaker it should support a little more punch especially with a full surround system as the center channel pushes a lot of high/mid range frequencies specifically vocals thus why I have kept my Logitech's z506 center speaker over creatives. Another thing with this set is although the sub is on par with Logi's z506 I have noticed that it can't reach the low's as well as my sub with the Logi's did but I have yet to tweak the frequencies on it so this may be change able.

Con List
- Short wires
- Weak Center speaker
- Sub hasn't hit the Low low Freq

Other Thoughts: So far I've been using the speakers mostly with music and all of the music I've played so far is full FLAC 16 and 24bit quality. I have played Titanfall with them a bit and Sound wise this is were the crisp clean benefit comes into play over the Logitech's I could hear much better distinction in noise's while play which was a nice plus.

Ultimately I have to say I'm neutral on the speakers I have absolutely no grief with them and I'm perfectly happy with the sound quality. As for personal choice of these vs z506's I'd say which look better to you and which is cheaper because the sound quality is pretty close.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Speak, Bad Woof

Pros: The speakers themselves are fair in size, yet powerful, powerful speakers. They pack a punch and deliver that crisp, clear sound that Creative has always been able to deliver for more than a decade now.

Cons: Here comes the bummer: the subwoofer. While the speakers sound great, the subwoofer has some crazy internal reverb inside the unit box. It only happens at a certain low note, but you can hear unbelievably loud vibrations coming from the unit over the audio period. You have to crank up the volume way to high to eventually drown it out, and when you get to that volume, your neighbors are able to listen to whatever you listening to as well.

Other Thoughts: To reiterate, this is a particularly good unit with great speakers, but that subwoofer kind of kills it. Also, i did not have issues with my shipping, but the box is indeed horrible packed, so just know you might get damaged units. I got lucky.

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointing

Pros: Good looking

Cons: The three smaller satellite speakers were all dead on arrival. Also, one of the sub's legs was broken. Going to have to return it.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Speakers

Pros: Loud, Cheap, and lightweight.

Cons: Wired volume control not that big of a deal though.

Other Thoughts: Packaging does not exist. Ships in product box and arrived severely beaten up with the box crushed and dented and one of the legs broken off. fixed it because i didnt want to pay for return with some epoxy however and it works and sounds great. stil 5 stars because it`s not rosewills fault newegg shipped it so irresponsibly.

1 out of 5 eggsjunk

Pros: surround sound

Cons: muffled sound, the sub is poor quality.

Other Thoughts: i have owned the Creative T10's for years, and still love them, Creative is a good company, but this 5.1 system needs to be scrapped. the T10's are amazing tho
