5 out of 5 eggsFor the size, amazing

Pros: These things have an amazing sound, tremendous volume and a great low frequency response for the size, if space is an issue, then these are for you!

Cons: My only drawback so far (after 1 year) is the volume nob, when i turn it it crackles very loud and depending on where i leave it the volume will come out of one side then the other, i feel this may be due to the dust where I am, not to mention this happens to other things like guitar amps, so i'm not too distressed

3 out of 5 eggsKlipsch Honorable about defect

Pros: See previous review

Cons: See previous review

Other Thoughts: Mine developed defective volume control shortly after the warranty period expired...I contacted the manufacturer by email and they agreed to rectify the situation. I had to pay for shipment but they did replace them after the warranty expired

1 out of 5 eggsCan't be a Klipsch product!

Pros: Good sound, when it works.

Cons: Had an issue with flaky power connection right out of the box. Left speaker failed after a month. Right speaker only works if I jiggle the volume knob just right.

Other Thoughts: Took the master speaker apart, noticed that the two large caps are all leaking (blown). May be related to bad power connection; more likely, bad manufacturing process. I cannot believe this is a true Klipsch product (it's got to be rebranded). Also can’t believe Newegg is still selling this P-O-S.

2 out of 5 eggsDecent but...

Pros: smooth flat response, might not be what you want if you are expecting extra bass response. Get a set with a subwoofer if you desire strong bass.

Cons: I have owned since 8/2007 so probably out of warranty...the volume potentiometer is pure junk...it is now so scratchy that the set is virtually useless unless one rotates it many time to "clean" it up...which is only a temporary fix Probably simply poor materials used in fabrication and subsequent corrosion. Junk.

Other Thoughts: Won't buy anything from Klipsch again...I expected better quality from them.

1 out of 5 eggsStay away

Pros: They sound great when they were working.

Cons: Died just after warranty expired.

Other Thoughts: Just so happens that the Klipsh factory is in my city. Paid another $65 dollars to have them repaired and they died again after about another 4 months. They went out next day trash. Completely worthless!!

5 out of 5 eggsHave had them for 2 years and they work great

Pros: Nice bass for no external sub woofer... They get plenty loud for me.

Cons: I'm not sure if I did something to them but after having them for a two years they are starting to malfunction slightly. Whenever I change the volume there is a static noise which stops as soon as I stop moving the volume knob.

Other Thoughts: Overall very purchase in my opinion.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: Nice Sound

Cons: Died after warranty period

Other Thoughts: Klipsch was once a reliable company. They are no longer. It's disappointing that $100 dollar computer speakers last just long enough for the warranty to expire and not as long as a pair of $20 dollar speakers. Shame on Klipsch- I'll never bother to consider another Klipsch product again.

1 out of 5 eggsAvoid Klipsch Speakers

Pros: Sound, when it worked, was OK - a little bass heavy, even with the bass all the way down.

Cons: Like others, I experienced a growing static issue when using the volume control, eventually causing no sound on one or both channels every time I used it. I had to fiddle with the control to get the sound back, and eventually the speakers became unusable. I was still in the 1 year warranty period, so I was able to get a replacement.

Other Thoughts: I paid to ship the speakers back, and after a month (I had to e-mail them to remind them) they sent me back "B Stock" labeled speakers. Guess what? The headphone jack won't work on these speakers. Too bad I did not find this out within their 30 day warranty. Now I just wait for the volume control on these to go as well. What a disappointment - never again Klipsch!

4 out of 5 eggsNot Bad

Pros: They aren't some cheap plastic (even though they are) chinese knock off speakers...Good Sound. Fairly loud without distortion. Good highs and solid bass. Nice design, never really collected alot of dust either.

Cons: I ordered these on 4/17/2006 and exactly 1 year 10 month later they died. They will not stay on for longer than 10 minutes without "popping" then cutting off. From there i have to turn them off and turn them back on, which can be annoying.

Other Thoughts: Needless to say i never turned these off and left them on when i left my computer.

I wish they lasted Longer. My father is a sound connoisseur and his speakers seem to outlast mine by a long period of time... Decades if you will. I just wished they would have lasted me longer. Time to buy something bigger better and of better quality.

2 out of 5 eggsINOP after 14 months

Pros: Good sound is not driven too far

Cons: Volume control eventually caused distortion and humming. Taping the volume control fixed it for a while, now the speakers are useless.

Other Thoughts: I am really surprised at the volume knob problem. This is my fifth set of speakers over the years and these are the first that have broken ... very disappointing
