2 out of 5 eggsAgree with others Not worth it

Pros: Nice sleek design sound great when you can hit that sweet spot after wiggling the wires.

Cons: wiring connections (im assuming on the speaker not the wire) began to fail causing loss of sound at the slightest bump of the desk. Then I would have to spend an hour repositioning the wire thru alot of painful cracking and popping to work again. not worth the money paid.

Other Thoughts: These are great speakers that just need some retweaking on the developers end to make them more sturdy and stable. Then they would definately be worth the money!

2 out of 5 eggssame problem as others stated

Pros: sounded great for the first 4 months... then left started not to work. You have to turn the knob at the certain dial to get it to work.

Cons: didn't last. I probably only had couple of hours of use before it started having the problem. since i usually use a headphone. just a big paper weight in my desk.

Other Thoughts: don't waste your money

2 out of 5 eggsExcellent Sound, but at What Cost?

Pros: Great sound, with bass turned up all the way you can hear stuff pretty clear and with good quality. Great range of volume, can outdo smaller boomboxes and the like.

Cons: Starts falling apart months into owning, after a year barely works. Huge AC block is a pain. Way too expensive for such a short life span.

Other Thoughts: Out of the box these speakers performed great. A little later, 4 or so months, i started to notice a static noise every time i adjusted the volume; a month later i realized the left speaker sometimes wouldn't work at all. In the infancy of the problem i would just have to push/pull the volume knob from side to side until i got sound in both speakers. As time went on, it became harder and harder to get sound from the left speaker. As of now they're both almost completely dead; needless to say no matter what i do i get no sound from the left speaker.

Avoid at all costs.

2 out of 5 eggsDon't Waste Your Money On These

Pros: Excellent sound and versatility

Cons: Built for failure soon after the warranty expires.

Other Thoughts: I was swayed by all the positive reviews of these speakers so I decided to try them. The sound was excellent and I liked the fact that you could actually plug two speakers and headphones into them. However, they died soon after the warranty expired; don't even consider these or any other Klipsch computer speakers if the Pro Medias are an indication of Klipsch lack of quality control. They are poorly made and appear to be built for failure, and many others have reported the same.

4 out of 5 eggsDon't Give Up

Pros: THE BEST SOUNDING SPEAKERS EVER. I am not going to lie to you, these sound than anything else. they will blow You away. Ive has these for Three Years!

Cons: The left one began to stop working after the first year, so now every four months or so it will go out. Take them apart, and put them back together...and Presto! now they work again! dont thow these out, they sound waay to awesome.

Other Thoughts: Get these off somewhere else (neighbors trash), dont pay for them until this problem is dealt with

2 out of 5 eggsGreat for a little while.

Pros: The best sounding speakers I've ever owned...

Cons: ...until about 3 months after I got them, and the left speaker went totaly dead on me. Also, like most owners of these speakers, the volume nob creates an annoying static noise every time you use it. If you are looking to spend 99 bucks on some disposable speakers for a few months, this is for you. For those of you that like to use your expensive electronics for at least a year, look somewhere else.

1 out of 5 eggsShoddy components make for very short life

Pros: *The small footprint takes up a relatively small space
*removable speaker grill

Cons: *Inferior circuitry results in a short life
*supplied power and RCA wires are cheap
*potentiometers prone to crackling

Other Thoughts: My speakers lasted not even six weeks before failing completely and they were treated like precious newborns. I did not "crank them up" to see how much bass they could produce - I just wanted some background music next to my computer. The first time it cut out, I thought it was a driver issue, but tried using a different source and still no sound. Only the headphone jack and the power light worked, but otherwise - no sound. Then I waited a few days, and tried them again, then it worked for two more days, then it never recovered.

3 out of 5 eggsGood quality, but poor connection

Pros: Solid sound quality, a bit muddy though.

Cons: Biggest problem is that the volume control knob has a ton of static and the left speaker with it is hard to adjust, fades in and out. Very frustrating. It's like the potentiometer/volume knob has intermittent connection, and there's no fix other than to replace the knob, which I don't want to do. I wanted to like this unit, but problem is, for those of us who always fiddle w/the volume knob, is it doesn't work well.

3 out of 5 eggsunrelible

Pros: Sound quality is very good.

Cons: After about of a little more than a year of light use, the volume nob started to give out. It simply wasn't able to control the volume anymore. Had to throw them out.

Other Thoughts: I still owe a set of Klipsch ProMedia 2.1. I've had them for at least 4 years now, and they still work great, no problems with the volume nob.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: Sounded good initially.

Cons: They are very poor quality! Problems started with a ground hum then they started cutting out completely.

Other Thoughts: These speakers are 7 months old!!!!
