4 out of 5 eggsGet what you pay for

Pros: Price.

Cons: Bass.

Other Thoughts: Since I'm currently on a budget, I figured I would get a cheap set of speakers to hold me over until I get on my feet. With that said, these replaced a $100 2.1 system I was given about 8 years ago since one of the speaker outputs has failed on it. So I have basically downgraded, and I can definitely tell. These speakers almost virtually have zero bass. Granted, they're 3 inch or so speakers. They sound clear, but like I said, no bass.

If you like your bass, don't buy these.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Speakers

Pros: Sound much better than your typical cheap computer speakers

Cons: Hard to beat at this price point. Of course, they are not $200 speakers, but the do sound clear and bright.

5 out of 5 eggsBang for your Buck

Pros: Great sound, work when they're supposed to, and haven't had any issues since I got them.

Cons: None to speak of.

Other Thoughts: I had just started full-time at the company I work for, and was looking for something to cut through the thrum of machines. I found these (actually on sale no less) and thought "Eh, why not?". I had read the reviews and figured if they didn't work right, I only wasted 27 bucks. Now three months later they're still in working order, and I'm able to blow all 3 of my coworkers in the room out when I crank the volume up.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic, Just What I Needed

Pros: I bought these speakers for my gaming build. They have been everything I needed. Perfectly reliable, great sound (to a non-audiophile user, admittedly).

Very solid construction. I've brought these along with my desktop to several lan parties and have never had incident. The front is a well-made metal grate, and every other part is thick plastic.

Cons: There's a bright orange LED light on the front that bothered me when I first got it. However, after I put a piece of duct tape over it, it's been smooth sailing.

Other Thoughts: Next to the volume knob is another knob for "tone". Having played around with it, the difference it makes in sound is negligible to me. I would have preferred they used it for sound balancing, but meh.

1 out of 5 eggsAvoid

Pros: Looks nice, sound great when they work properly.

Cons: Bought these in February as I've always found Logitech to be a trusted brand. This is their first thing I've bought that I can't recommend at all. Firstly, mine came with the speaker wires completely exposed on the right side, with the wire covering about an inch back from the base of the back of the speaker.

I didn't think much of it considering my speakers would be going nowhere, but today (4/6), my sound began fading in and out for no reason. Sometimes my music would play loud but the voices were barely audible. Other times it was the opposite. Then it'd be fine for 5-10 minutes, then it happened again.

Even before this, at very low volume the left speaker would not be audible. The volume had to be moderately high for it to finally kick in.

Other Thoughts: Basically broken. Maybe I just got a lemon because I've always found Logitech's products to be fairly high quality, but these are the worst speakers ever. Broke after 2 months. Consider other options.

4 out of 5 eggsBetter than you think.

Pros: Good price ($30), looks nice, sounds good, bigger than you think. They are bigger than I thought they would be. They sound better than most of the cheaper speakers out there. Headphone outputs and mic (or mp3 player) 3.5mm jack input.

Cons: None so far, hopefully they hold up. Only time will tell.

4 out of 5 eggsGood value, sounds great

Pros: These are not high-end studio audio monitors.. They also do not cost $1200 as some do. For the price they work excellently with the onboard motherboard sound. If you have upgraded sound hardware then a higher-end speaker may be in order, but for casual gaming, compressed audio on Netflix and Google Play and similar you won't be able to take advantage of diamond-tier speakers anyway :D. Volume and clarity is good. Bass is ok. They are a good weight which is a good thing as the lighter ones tend to fall over. However, I suspect the weight is actually from ballast rather than the speakers themselves :P.

Cons: None really. A bit large.

Other Thoughts: If the price was under $25, I'd give it 5 stars.

4 out of 5 eggsNot to bad

Pros: - Cheap
- Makes sound
- "Tone" adjuster

Cons: It's not going to win any awards and definitely not Logitech's best work but for the price i cant complain too much

Other Thoughts: I bought 2x one for a guest PC that goes unused a lot but my wife asked me to "make it make sound", the second for my grandparents that use it on a aging 19in LCDTV in the kitchen that the speakers blow out in, it was a quick fix, they seem to like them.
