4 out of 5 eggsLove em

Pros: Small, easy, sound great

Cons: Nothing for the price

Other Thoughts: Love these things, perfect for what I use them for which is listening to music and videos at work. Don't need fancy subwoofer or super loud. Great little speakers that work with no issues.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: For the price, they do an adequate job.

Cons: They don't sound the greatest but they are quite cheap. The LED light on the one speaker glows too bright and it's orange. I put black tape over it so it wouldn't annoy me.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: They are very good speakers. I received these within a day of ordering them.. Which surprised me.. Within a few hours of placing my order it was already confirmed and shipped out, to find, the next day, my package was at my doorstep.

They are very small and nice. They could fit in the smallest places, and you can travel with them if you wanted.

There is no static, clicking, or any noise. It's perfectly fine.

The sound quality is fine.

Cons: However, no bass. Which is disappointing, but what could I expect from 14.99 speakers? I love the price, and they are pretty nice.

The first thing I noticed was on the one speaker, that annoying, orange light. I read other reviews that said there was one but I never knew it would be THIS intense. It's extremely distracting and obnoxious, even in daylight, or extremely brightly lit room. I will be looking for a small object to put infront of that so it doesn't shine in my face anymore..

Other Thoughts: If you're on a budget, I'd say these would work beautifully if you aren't that caring of bass.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Purchase!

Pros: Price first and foremost. Logitech is a good brand name, and they're willing to replace anything defective without issue. The speakers are a little smaller than the average speakers I use so they don't take up too much room. The sound is nice and loud (especially when compared to running sound through my hdtv). This is a great buy for anyone looking for something cheap but effective. For me it was getting my ears a break from a nice set of headphones.

Cons: I had to knock an egg off for sound quality. Especially for audiophiles like myself this just doesn't compare to high end sound. There's no static or click, the sound just doesn't seem to have high treble and almost no bass.

Other Thoughts: Great purchase and I'd recommend it to a friend.

1 out of 5 eggsBlew up the first week

Pros: Small

Cons: Wow. They buzzed a bit when first installed, then they started to snap and crackle. Discarded them, cost $12, not worth returning.

3 out of 5 eggseh

Pros: They work, they're cheap

Cons: They kinda poof out on you at lower frequencies. Darth Vader's voice just kinda... doesn't happen.

Other Thoughts: They make noise, that's all they're for. And they were really cheap. I'm not an audiophile, but these were below my already abysmal expectations. 3 eggs for not dead, cheap, kinda work.

5 out of 5 eggsRealtek HD Audio Manager EQ Settings

Pros: Price, it works and is reliable. The midrange is decent, it is fairly easy to configure, and has volume control.

Cons: Poor bass, humming or low sound when configured badly.

Other Thoughts: Using realtek HD audio manager, the best settings after listening to music on pandora one are these:

Configuration:

70-80 Volume (Adjusted using the slider): Too high, and you have distortion, too low and you may have difficulties hearing the speakers. 75 is a good midpoint, You should be able to max out the volume on the speakers without any issues after that.

Environment: None(default), or living room, depending on your preference, living room is imo the best.

EQ(Equalizer) Settings: Club is the best for increasing midrange volume, do not increase 31, 62, 4k, 8k, 16k, otherwise you may suffer from distortion. the speakers can't handle that.

Default Format: The highest setting possible, for me that was 24 Bits, 192000 HZ

These are the two variables:
16 Bits and 24 Bits
44100, 48000, 96000 and 192000

16 Bits 192000 Hz sounds better than 24 Bits 96000 Hz. Go with the largest Hz setting, if you don't have 24 Bits 192000 Hz.
