Great Sound for your $
- Pros: I built a new workstation pc and my old creative speakers were showing their age. I didn't want to spend a fortune, but did want to upgrade sound. I'm a musician, so good sound is important to me. I will be using this PC (with studio earphones) for mixing digital recordings and video. A decent desktop speaker system is of great advantage. All I can say is I'm impressed. Small satelites.. nice and crip. Small sub, but also very defined. Great value.

Awesome speakers
- Pros: These speakers are awesome, I can't believe how loud they are, and how good they sound. The people that complain about the cord length obviously don't know you can split the cord apart by pulling the speakers. Which gives it an incredibly long length.
- Cons: Nothing at all, I don't think you can get better speakers for this price. Or even for spending 20 dollars more.
- Other Thoughts: Its freaking awesome?

Would have been a good deal....
- Pros: Low Price. Decent sound on a budget. Replacement unit is still working fine.
- Cons: 1st unit arrived DOA(this is really quality control from the manufacturer but -1egg). Had to pay return shipping for RMA thruoght Newegg(-1 more egg).
- Other Thoughts: I think these are great sounding speakers for $24. If you add the extra $10 for return shipping on a DOA unit, the deal is not as good anymore. I would like to see Newegg revise their return policy for DOA items. If you sell something to someone at a specified price and it doesn't work, that person should not have to pay more to get a functional item.
Nice set
- Pros: Inexpensive and compact. Surprisingly good sound. Mids and highs are fairly clear, and the hardback sized sub puts out just enough bass for my purposes.
I strapped this set to a gaming chair and was really pleased with the sound. I wasn't really planning on using these to listen to music (I have a "real" system for that), but I actually find myself cranking these up for tunes quite often when I'm surfing the web.
Control hub has input for headphones and microphone. Very nice for those who want to plug in a gaming headset once in a while and don't have easy access to their rig jacks.
- Cons: Can't turn them up loud enough to get the neighbors really riled up. They are still fairly loud and surprisingly clear at full blast though.
Control hub is in-line, making the cable from the sub to the pc detour to the hub, thus making the overall cable length kind of short. Wasn't really an issue for me, but if your rig isn't close to where you want to place the hub, you may need an extension cable or two.
- Other Thoughts: Was skeptical of the reviews raving about these speakers, but decided to give them a shot. I was looking for a basic set of speakers for a gaming set up to replace a really tinny, cheap set. These are definitely better than I expected.
Worth the cash, without doubt.
Great sound for low price
- Pros: Speakers look TINY upon unboxing, especially the subwoofer. But don't let that fool you, they can produce a very rich sound. Great for home and office, just don't expect to rattle your neighbors windows with this thing. this is just loud enough to anger your roommates, which is as loud as I'll ever need :)
- Cons: So after a couple months of use, the subwoofer started to cut out intermittently. The speaker wasn't blown, as it would still work. Then all of a sudden, the subwoofer didn't work at all, unless I jiggled the audio jack or pressed it in hard.
Naturally, i sent a support ticket in via Logitech's site, and the help was very fast an courteous. Well, the moment they sent me a message asking for my address to send it in for a replacement under warranty, guess what? the subwoofer works! and it still does (a month now). Silly subwoofer!
it's only $20, and it sounds great.
