5 out of 5 eggsSolid Case

Pros: I love this thing! Originally bought it to replace a large aging case. It's pretty large considering my old tower was fairly big. Moving the hardware was done with ease and cable management is wonderful! Very easy to get into with the latches on both sides. Definitely would buy again

Cons: None currently

Other Thoughts: No filter for the top. Will be buying the filter mentioned in a previous review to complete setup.

5 out of 5 eggsCan't believe I didn't review this earlier

Pros: Everything. Almost. I'm sure I can find a thing or two to say in terms of improvement, but this case is just outstanding. It's solid. It looks and feels.. just... awesome. The perfect mix of clean and unobtrusive, but still-one look at it and it's easy to see that it's not a Dell.
The snapping sides are cool. A little loud, but more convenient than even the easiest of thumbscrews and safer than just keeping them out.
There's room for cable management... which I'm pushing, due to 4 drives, supplementary power for a 660 ti, aftermarket cooler, fan controller, dvd drive, and a good deal of fans, but it's far better than other cases I've had. the flared rubber grommets are a nice touch that helps everything look organized, not to mention behind that, the case uses little removable plastic bars to keep all the cables in line, making most zip ties unnecessary-though they never hurt. Comes with 3 fans and 3 filters, which is a decent step up from the usual 1 fan and a filter or zero.
The drive bays are just superior to anything ever, though room for more would be nice. They're segmented into 2 separate cages of three bays. You can remove either cage. Inside each cage are three sturdy plastic mounts that are genuinely a breeze to remove (so long as the drive is disconnected)- additionally for any 3.5 inch drive, you need no tools, no screws, nothing. You just bend the bracket around the drive and it snaps in and grips it. I've done some simple tests of holding it upside down and waving it around, and my drives have never fallen out. You will need some screws for 2.5 inch drives, but no need for a new bracket.
There's space above my motherboard. It's beautiful. I can install fans with ease.

Cons: There are a couple now that I think about it. The front panel is a little annoying to remove, as you need to remove both side panels first, and then squeeze in 6 pieces to finally get it off.
Doesn't come with the standard test speaker.

Other Thoughts: Mobo peg is handy, though I've heard a person or two doesn't like it.

5 out of 5 eggsStandard Flash Drive

Pros: Purchased this on a whim at a local store from the clearance bin. Already had a 4GB model and new that it worked.

Plugged it in and Vista recognized it. Has 15.2GB available and is formatted as FAT32. HDTune benched an average transfer rate of 22.5MB/s with an access time of 0.7ms.

Cons: I found that PNY flash drives are hit or miss, but lately they seem to be getting their act together.

Other Thoughts: It's a flash drive, no bells or whistles.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Case but no speaker

Pros: Nice ventilation and good cable management. Every thing mounted very easy with lots of room.

Cons: At this price point I can see not including a USB 3.0 to 2.0 cable adapter. Not everyone needs one and they can be had for $10. The thing that boggles my mind is no case speaker. Everyone needs a speaker for the audio post confirmation and error codes.

Other Thoughts: This is one of the nicest cases I have ever worked with. It would be a solid 5 stars but for the speaker. You can get a speaker on online for about $4 delivered.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Well, Check the specification page.
Oh , and a life time warranty..

Cons: This RAM KIT was supposed to be tested with a Rampage IV Extreme motherboard.
But the fans do not simply fit with the motherboard.

Other Thoughts: If you need a 64GB of RAM without EEC.
Well , go for it!

1 out of 5 eggsNot really a USB 3.0 device

Pros: Like the sliding case and it seems to be very sturdy.

Cons: This is an allegedly a USB 3.0 device, but it performs at only slighter better than 2.0 speeds. It was not a scientific test run, but I did test basic speeds with various USB 3.0 flash sticks from Silicon Power, Patriot, and Team in addition to this device.

The device closest in price to the Kingston was the Team. Transfer rate on my test with the Team was about 1 minute, 43 seconds. With the Kingston, 6 minutes, 29 seconds. The other two flash drives tested were faster than the Team.

I then tested this alleged USB 3.0 device against a Kingston USB 2.0 device bought in the last 6 months. It came in at 7 minutes, 32 seconds on a USB 3.0 port.

I have always been a fan of Kingston and will continue to be, but this dog slow unit is going back even though it will cost me.

I understand that these units are on the lower cost end, but the Team unit was about 3.77 times faster.

I already have plenty of USB 2.0 flash drives.

No activity light that I could see either, which is nice but not required.

2 out of 5 eggsNot such a great deal

Pros: HDMI connectors for most devices. Remote can be programmed for most devices. Low price (under $300.00).

Cons: HDMI connectors faulty.

Other Thoughts: I have been a "dyed in the wool" Pioneer owner since the early 1980s. All of my home receivers have been Pioneer, as well as my latest car audio unit. In the past, I had very little problems with these products. When I purchased this AV receiver, I was expecting more of the same quality and durability as in the past. I connected everything and tested everything. Very satisfied. I seldom used this receiver and the home theater setup that it is connected with. It sat idle for about 8 months when I decided to watch something on the TV. No matter what I tried to do, I could not get a picture. At first I blamed the TV, then the Blu-Ray player, then the cable STB. All of these were ruled out, so I contacted Pioneer about warranty service (being under a year old). I took the unit to a local authorized repair shop. They kept it for over a month and a half. After they repaired it, I took it home and reconnected everything except for the cable STB (I had no real desire to watch anything at that time). So, for about 4 months it sat idle again. I recently had a desire to watch cable, so I hooked up the STB. All I could get were intermittent signal connections. At first I thought that it was the cable box, but after I swapped it with a new one, the same problem was there. The original warranty for the receiver is expired as well as the 90 day warranty from the repair. I am currently in communication with Pioneer to see what can be done to fix this problem.

1 out of 5 eggsUseless

Pros: Zero

Cons: This is advertised by Cisco/Linksys as being able to work anywhere in your house. It does not. After several hours with Linksys tech support trying to get this thing to work from 1 outlet to an adjacent 1 I asked the tech if we were able to actually get the thing to work where it was, if it would work upstairs where I wanted to use it on a different circuit.

(Name Removed): No. The powerline adapter will only work if they are on the same circuit breaker for them to be able to communicate with each other. Our devices are designed for small offices only.

I can't imagine an office so small that it has only 1 circuit that would need a wireless range extender. This item is useless. After the tech told me this I left the chat and RMA to newegg. newegg RMA was awesome as expected.

Other Thoughts: Would not recognize both adapters on same circuit unless both were connected to the router via rj45 (VerizonFios supplied Actiontec router). Could not get this to work after several hours with tech support. Gave up after realizing that this would not perform the way it was advertised. Even the fine print at the bottom of the product tour says it will work on all power outlets in an electrical system. I purchased this after watching the newegg tv on powerline networking with the guy from Qualcomm where he says how great these things are and how surge protectors and different circuits don't affect performance of these devices anymore like it did a few years ago. The idea is great and I could definitely use this as my router is in one corner of the house and I have very weak signal at the opposite corner upstairs. Even if you have only one circuit in your house or office, I would avoid this item. I'll have to read some reviews of other brands before I try again. I tried this even though there were no reviews on the product here at newegg. Taking one for the team. Avoid this product.

3 out of 5 eggsSmart Gesture Shuts Off

Pros: OK computer.

Cons: Smart Gesture is terrible. When computer goes to sleep, smart gesture shuts off and the touchpad becomes so sensitive it moves the cursor around, highlights and erases random bits of text and even activates page back and enter buttons from inadvertent brushing agaist the touchpad. Restarting computer fixes this, but is annoying.

A previous reviewer stating having this problem and tried following those directions which stated to go to the power settings and change the trackpad settings, but I cannot find any setting for the trackpad there. Please help, this problem is terribly annoying.
