For $50 these speakers are still working like they are new and I've probably had these for 10 months. mwyson 6/10/2013 10:35:38 PM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 4/5	Rating: 2/5No highs, no adjustment Pros: none Cons: The highs are just not there and there is no way to adjust it except to max out any adjustment you have on your sound card software Other Thoughts: Bought these from Wallymart because I couldn't wait for shipping. The highs are really muffled and there also is no subwoofer adjustment. Also I paid alot for these compared to the Creative Labs set I bought for my daughters computer which sound much better, but for some reason Wallymart stopped carrying the Creative brand. I finally got tired of using only headphones and was looking for something cheap and these things really fit the bill. Very good bass from such a small package. Not gonna blow out your windows but you can definitely feel it. I'm not a long drawn out bologna review kinda guy so I'll just say I like them. They are everything they are advertised to be. Cons: Cannot control the bass level with the little volume control dongle. Oh well. Not wireless. Not advertised as wireless. Darn. Other Thoughts: Why do people named Richard sometimes go by Dick. I mean Rick is understandable but Dick? Come on. And don't get me started on Bill and William. Also Why is it every single product I have purchased from NewEgg has worked as advertised yet there a bunch of negative incoherent reviews of the same product? Could it be user error? Small, crisp, and a lot of speaker for the money. Love the inline volume controller and headphone jack. Allows you to locate it where it is most accessible. Great sound, pretty loud and decent bass. A speaker control cable that fits on the desk (also a con). For the price - amazing. Cons: There's a lot of wires to this system snaking around the back of my desk. High end resonance doesn't seem to make it through these so well Other Thoughts: Great speakers for the price. Cons: A few days after the warranty, the system started to give me serious troubles. Sound no longuer clear, volume goes up and down randomdly when playing a song. Cons: I'm not used to the subwoofer bass (laptop + sony monitor headphones) so this thing seems very bass-y to me and you can't adjust subwoofer level, no EQ or anything like that, just a single volume dial Volume dial doesn't modify headphone volume Other Thoughts: I went for years without speakers, maybe some day I'll invest in good ones but for now this thing was under $50 shipped and pretty awesome for the cost.
