5 out of 5 eggsGreat Bang For Buck 2.1 Setup

Pros: Price to quality sound ratio is really

These things put out some really good sound for the $30 I paid. Got mine from the other site for that price. I'd still of paid $50 if I had no choice.

I'm no audiophile but I can say these are good speakers and produce some powerful sound. The sub is enough for desktop/small office or room.

Build quality and style of speakers is acceptable. Cable lengths were fine. Simple installation. Nicely packaged.

Cons: Not docking an egg but here's a few things I don't care for

I'm not a huge fan of the volume controller that comes attached to the cables. I can live with it though.

No bass volume is disappointing. It would of made the attached volume controller more useful if their going to insist on this design.

Other Thoughts: Really impressed with these things. Especially for the price.

Highly recommended for anyone on a budget for some good quality bang to buck 2.1 desktop speakers.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Speakers

Pros: Cheap, good to great sound, pretty designs, and arrived fast. Mostly clear sound.

Cons: Sometimes the sound can be scratchy when playing different types of music. However, using the equalizer in your sound options can fix this.

Other Thoughts: These speakers seem to be well worth buying.

4 out of 5 eggsawesome sound!

Pros: clear and crisp sound, satellites look and sound awesome, sub is so powerful it vibrates the floor within a 20ft radius at full volume.

Cons: bass gets a little distorted at higher volumes but is to be expected.

Other Thoughts: i bought this set locally about a month ago to replace my aging Advent system. im really glad i did as these speakers sound a lot better than i had expected

4 out of 5 eggsGet what you pay for

Pros: Well, these speakers were cheap, but they actually sound a lot better than I was expecting

Cons: I wish there was a volume control for the bass, and I also wish there was a mic input on the controller next to the headset input, but they are low end speakers.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT quality audio for the price

Pros: If you cannot afford Logitech Z623 200 w or care too much about audio then these are pretty dang good. They come packaged well, the sound is full, speaker cones protected, volume control unit, and decent clear levels of sound for your computer needs.

Cons: Not loud enough to entertain people. Sub is a little weak compared to my z623 that I have owned for 5 years and still going strong (save up and buy that one, you won't regret it) but it is louder and clearer than any other speaker in it's category.

Other Thoughts: Clearer, more reliable, and more bass than anything in its price range. Nice full sound too. Not too loud though so only for desktop use. Would save up for z623 speakers, lasted me 5 years so far and they sound the same as they did out of the box, I know this because I just bought my dad them last year!

3 out of 5 eggsWorks Fine But a bit Cheap-Fealing

Pros: Works Alright; Sounds Alright. Has Subwoofer

Cons: Too many cables, not intuitive how to plug them in as there are multiple RCA plugs making it possible to do it wrong, has no cover over speakers...

5 out of 5 eggsYou only have two ears. Why is it important to have more than two speakers:)

Pros: It does what it's supposed to do--provide great sound. I'm a heavy movie watcher and gamer and I really like the sound. A little background--I have a MSI Gaming 5 motherboard and the room where I keep my PC is pretty small, so that is why I went for a 2.1 configuration. The sound quality is pretty good for just $40. Granted, you will get better sound quality and clarity if you went for say the M-Audio AV40 or Corsair SP2500, but you will pay for the quality ($150+/$200+). I was not constrained by budget, but I really couldn't justify spending more--might also have to do with the fact that I used these same speakers for a PC build for my parents about a year ago. Regardless, if you're not an audiophile, then you won't really care for more expensive speakers. For movies and gaming, since I game pretty close to my PC and as I have a small room, it works really well for me. As for volume control, since I live in an apartment, I haven't tested it's capacity. If I recall, when I built parents' PC, it was pretty loud and that was in a pretty big room (at least 250 sq ft).

Cons: For $40, what more can you ask for!

Other Thoughts: I really thought about spending $200+ for the Corsair SP2500, thinking that I would actually benefit/enjoy/??? from the higher quality speakers. Honestly, had I gotten them, I would have been really admiring of them for maybe a few days, then the novelty would wear off. I watch movies, listen to songs and play games all the time, but I find myself more involved in the image rather than the audio, so a higher quality sound set might be for those who prefer to be more involved in the audio as well. Just me 2 cents.
