1 out of 5 eggsNot for me

Pros: Compact

Cons: Electrical humm, overpowering bass even when turned down.

Other Thoughts: Logitech's tech. support is excellent. These are my second set of Z523's after returning the first set with an electrical humm. They sent me a new set and they have the same humm. Sorry Logitech, but you lost me - going back to Bose.

5 out of 5 eggsSpend the extra $20-$40 - It's really worth it

Pros: Great sounds with deep bass. Very easy set-up and looks very sharp. Speakers in the front and back which was a great bonus for 360 degree sound.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Forget Bose and buy these for less than half the price.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: Bought somewhere else for the same price as Newegg, and they ROCK. Really, wattage looks wimpy but sure doesn't sound like it. Have to turn it down during the night by alot.
Volume and Bass dials are good.

Cons: sound quality is good, but seem to have more deep tones, even when the sub is adjusted or turned all the way down. Not too bad though, for normal users.
Wires are a little short to put one on each side of a desk, but manageable.

4 out of 5 eggsGood sound, small package

Pros: Well built, easy to put together. Nice cables. Speakers are all solidly built and attractive looking. I really like the aux input. I stream music from my phone into the speakers and have my computer audio at the same time. The sounds is good with the right setup. The main speakers have decent quality sound as well. It's pretty good considering the price.

Cons: Sub woofer cross over is too high for me. I had to move the sub under my desk because the sound image was odd where I first had it off to the right of my desk.

5 out of 5 eggsLooking? Unsure? Don't be.

Pros: Definitely amazing quality. I switched over from some junk that didn't have a bass at all. But it wasn't just the bass that sounded nice, so did the overall sound. It definitly has the potential to get as loud as you want, I personally never have to turn my volume past the half way mark on the speaker with my pc volume on max.

Cons: My first batch were defective because of a very noticeable hiss. The newer one i got was perfectly fine though. Logitech support is native english speaking ;)

Other Thoughts: Definitely worth the 80 it is right now. I bought mine at 100. Between these and the 5.1, I think you're good either way, this just happens to take up less space.

4 out of 5 eggsGood up grade

Pros: Went up from some tiny little Logitech R-20's that worked well but wanted to upgrade. These work great the 360 sound is noticeable for me so far as well as the bass. My old speakers didn't have manual Bass control so big reason why I go these. The headphone plug ins are easy to get to as well as a nifty plug in for MP3 players, etc.

And also the two extra aux plug in's for TV/consoles are great! I might not use them but can be very very useful in the future.

Cons: My first ones were DOA (-1 egg) and just emitted a load buzzing noise. Get 2nd pair and they work wonderfully so far. I wish the cables that plug into the speakers were detachable just for ease of storage and movement.

Other Thoughts: So far the sound they put out is a lot better then what I had before. I have yet to game on them yet, I will see how that goes though I assume they will work great.

4 out of 5 eggsNice speakers, good price

Pros: Not an audiophile, but liking these speakers. Explosions rock the house, and they get pretty loud. What more can you ask for?

Cons: Cords are short.

Other Thoughts: I had weird feedback issues with them, came close to a RMA. Unplugged, replugged some wires and it went away.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat all around speakers.

Pros: -Downward facing bass works well, makes downstairs neighbors mad, but I enjoy that anyway ;-)
-the speakers actually have sound output coming from the front as well as from the back (literally looks like its a doublesided speaker). If you place them on a desk against a wall, you get a nice full effect
-they look sexy, I like the gloss finish and the not-too-bright-or-distracting LED on the volume nob that lets you know the speakers are on.

Cons: -none.

Other Thoughts: If you need some computer speakers, want them to look classy, want great sound reproduction, and need a headphone out and line in jack (there is one on the left speaker)...this is the best deal. I've found Logitech speakers to last me 4-6 years without ANY problems. They're quality. (I had to buy these because my wife got a little too into vacuuming and decided to vacuum my old logitech speaker cable ;-) )

5 out of 5 eggsI have Logitech Z323 50 Watt Speakers but they look like the same.

Pros: It has Great bass! The Sub has three inputs to plug in the speakers aswell as an auxillary port. I have used these instead of my TV to give me the sound quality i want.

Cons: I wish it had more speacker like a home theatre system but its totally worth it!

Other Thoughts: Remeber i dont have this exact Speakers but they are preety close to these.

5 out of 5 eggsSweeet.

Pros: BASS. I love BASS! if you tweak your EQ just right, you will get it nice and clear. Not over powering either, and not wimpy. I had Creative 2.1 setup, but when you add in this down-firing sub, it really changes the game. The rear firing speakers on the desktop also make a huge difference.

Also, These things sound NICE when playing BC2!!

Cons: None really. They respond well to a well EQ'd system. So as others stated, if you can balance your iTunes EQ just right, the sound is perfect.

Other Thoughts: All in all, Very pleased.
