5 out of 5 eggsWorks great 3 years later

Pros: Purchased these speakers in December 2012 and they still work like they are brand new. Great sound quality.

Cons: None I have encountered.

Other Thoughts: Buy these.

3 out of 5 eggsNot a fan of 360 sound

Pros: Reasonably good speakers that can play loud and sound good.

Cons: I did not like the 360 sound feature. To me everything sounded like it had a slight echo.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked good the few times I used them

Pros: The quality was good, no issues with ridiculous cord lengths or odd setups.

Cons: None, beyond the fact my right speaker decided to become more quiet than the left. Not the normal issues like most would have (one speaker not working for example).

All efforts to fix this issue failed and I would have certainly sent this back in for replacement. However this conveniently happened after the warranty.

Other Thoughts: Something to note is that I barely used these at all. I think I dusted them off more than actually using them. Probably less than 15 times they were used in the course of three years.

Despite this they managed to go back, pretty sad. The only counter play since the warranty was gone is to set the volume input much higher on the right side to compensate for the super low volume of the left.

This is a pretty bad solution to have to use when you normally use headphones and forget about it. These speakers would have been perfectly fine if not for this problem.

3 out of 5 eggsGood speakers is you don't mind replacing them often

Pros: Good sound

Cons: Not very good longevity

Other Thoughts: I have owned these speakers for just over two years now. They've been pretty good. I don't turn them up super loud regularly. I have to RMA them once because the speakers started crackling, again, I don't blare the sound out of them. And now, just today the left speaker has stopped working, just a few months out of warranty. I won't buy these again. Logitech was pretty good to work with on the RMA the first time, however.

1 out of 5 eggsSome absurd design flaws.

Pros: I'm sure it sounds great. Haven't heard it yet.

Cons: Okay, so first of all, there's no microphone jack on the speakers. Why not? This can't be that difficult to add to a speaker system. You want me to run my headphone cable to the right speaker and the mic cable to my tower, which has to stay on the left side? Yeah, good thinking, Logitech.

Secondly, and incredibly annoyingly, the cable that connects to the tower is the shortest thing... maybe 2-3 feet. Why.... WHY. Someone at Logitech please explain to me why your engineers are this blind to potential problems. My tower is MAYBE 4 feet away from the right speaker... seems closer to 3, and it won't reach. Seriously? Way to go.

Other Thoughts: Fire your incompetent engineers.

5 out of 5 eggsLove them.

Pros: Long lasting
Sound great
Sub is amazing

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I've had these for about two years and they still sound great. The bass on these speakers, I did not expect! The sub, when turned all the way up, makes the windows rattle. That's how good it is. In the two years that I've owned them, I never once had a problem.
P.S. any speakers like these will sound distorted if you turn them all the way up, duh. These speakers go as loud as they need to. If you want something louder, you're looking at the wrong type of speakers.

3 out of 5 eggsits ok.

Pros: It works.

Cons: Really cant turn it up all the way it gets distorted after like 85 percent. I even tried different sound cards and that didn't matter.

5 out of 5 eggsGood speakers for the price

Pros: Good 2.1 speakers over all.
Light on the volume knob is not overly bright.
Bass knob directly under volume knob for quick adjustments.

Cons: A few extra cords to deal with if moves or to cable manage.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't consider my self an audiophile but I do enjoy decent sound without breaking the bank. These speakers do a good job with pretty much anything I throw at them be it gaming, YouTube, movies, or music and I am very happy with the purchase.

1 out of 5 eggsif they work, then great, if not then BUZZZ

Pros: IF and when they work they sound AWESOME!! by far the best sounding 2.1 system out there...HOWEVER...read below:

Cons: sooner or later this set, I have 2, both of which have been replaced, this set will eventually malfunction and start a horrible BUZZ feedback noise...its super annoying and starts off low and gets super annoying as time goes by, the buzzing varies from the satellites HOWEVER both sets of the SUB buzzed horribly...

Other Thoughts: I eventually went with a creative 2.1 set for $40 and have been very happy with it, sound vs costs is fair and its performance is decent, NO BUZZ!
