5 out of 5 eggsCrystal Clear.

Pros: Crystal Clear sound when paired with a quality sound card. Zero static at 80% volume. Bass is good enough, audible, so you know it's there. But of course, it won't vibrate your chair or body. Bass sounds great, not sub-woofer great. The best way I can describe the bass is "Clear open bass". Like a thunder storm that is loud and clear but too far away to shake your house.

These are loud. Loud enough to fill an entire bedroom. Maybe not a living room full of people. But a bedroom definitely.

They look great. Fully black, not some light or gray black. But oil black.

They have some soft foam at the base, and they stay where you put them, and won't vibrate off the desk, slide off, or scratch the desk.

A+, would buy again.

Cons: Around a 24 inch monitor/screen is around the maximum the 2 speakers can go from each other. Which is pretty much long enough for basically everyone.

Other Thoughts: If you hear static and pops, try plugging them into a better sound source. I had my laptop, and they where mediocre on them. I bought a new gaming desktop, and all the pops or static is gone. So for the people who say they hear static, they might be using lower qauilty static sound cards.

5 out of 5 eggsGood little speakers

Pros: A little smaller than I thought they would be - but still good value for the money and fits and does what they need to do

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsgreat for simple small desk speakers

Pros: Small footprint, headphone jack, volume control, decent sound for a small speaker. My Left-Right cable was as spec'ed at 4 Ft. Well worth the $23 so far. Vast improvement over my laptop speakers.

Cons: cables could be longer, including power cable.

Other Thoughts: I have a docking station for my laptop, so analog audio cabling was easy. But if using without a dock, might consider Blue-Tooth speakers for laptop usage if you remove the laptop frequently.

3 out of 5 eggsWas nice while it lasted

Pros: Looked nice, sounded decent while playing games, music, movies etc.

Cons: Right from the beginning I could always hear a high pitched noise coming from the speakers when I turned them on. Not a big deal but still annoying.

Owned them for 10 months before the right speaker stopped working altogether.

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: small - light and non intrusive

Cons: Not high end (of course)

Other Thoughts: I use these at night when I get home from work. It's an APT complex so my speakers can't be loud. These actually started sounding much better after some time breaking in. Not much bass to speak of but fidelity is very good at low to medium volumes.

Where this unit really shines is, using onboard realtek sound and using it as a headphone amplifier. It makes simple realtek 892 come alive. Much more volume and punch. Basically negating the need for a separate soundcard. So, if you are in the same boat I'm in where you need to be quiet at night I highly recommend these little speakers.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: Looks nice. Small footprint.

Cons: The jack that connects to the computer is hard-wired to the right speaker and is only about 2 feet long. So if your computer is on the floor on your left side (like mine is) you have to reverse the left and right speakers so that the cable will reach. Even my old $7 speakers had a detachable jack so I could use a longer cord.
Oh yeah, and the left speaker was DOA.

Other Thoughts: Did I mention that the left speaker didn't work? Logitech has been putting out a lot of garbage lately.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Decent cable length and gauge.

Cons: Bass sounds like two 1 watt speakers compared to 2.5. Bought these to replace cheap Frisby brand speakers that I bought from e*Bay for $8 expecting that these would be higher quality and a heavier bass without a sub, I was wrong. The Frisby speakers sound much better, even though they have a lower wattage rating. These speakers sound stiff and very limited.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: Got it for 10$s. Not the best sound quality of the world. For that price I don't expect miracles, but serve the purpose. I used it as my desktop speakers to watch Youtube. If you plan to pay for the full retail price, I wouldn't do it but for 10$, I think I got a bargain.

Cons: Not that I can think of for the price.

Other Thoughts: None

1 out of 5 eggsDo not buy

Pros: Price was about $20

Cons: DOA. I recommend you do not buy this product for several reasons: 1) they're garbage and don't work at all 2) if you, like I, do buy them and have to send them back, it'll cost you more than half the price of them to get less than half of your money back.

Other Thoughts: A set of computer speakers are not a difficult thing to build. If logitech is producing this kind of garbage, they're pretty clearly incompetent. I'll not be buying anything made by them ever again.
