Logitech Z506 75 watts RMS 5.1 Surround Sound Speakers

Pros: Easy enough to install, the instruction's were very clear.
The bass from the sub can be pretty loud, but even if lowered quite a bit you can still hear the sub. The dial on the back of the sub to adjust the bass levels is very convenient.
The speakers all sound very clear, and they look nice.
The cords to connect all the speakers are long, like, really long. Almost too long, but too long is better than too short.

Cons: Unpacking the speakers from the box and installing them generates a lot of trash from the packaging.
Does not make me delicious toast.

Other Thoughts: I bought this system for my PC, I have it plugged into a Sound Blaster Z and it works and sounds great. The speakers come with all the cords you need to connect it to a sound card, and all the cords are plenty long enough.

Pros: Awesome sound and clarity even at high volumes which I did not expect once I saw how small they actually work. The subwoofer is also greater than most you can get for a computer. All for a low price!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: These kind of speakers need to be used with a good sound card to get their full effect.

Pros: Ease of setup, ease of use, great sound, low price.

Other Thoughts: I got these speakers for another source (sorry Newegg But we didn't pay a dime for them) my wife is a member of a food service rewards program and she bought these for my birthday with her points. I've had these for a week now and no problems yet, it does take a little tech. knowledge to be able to set them up. after I had my EQ settings and the level for my sub set I have NO complaints at all! there is a slight hum from the fronts but my preamp filters took care of that. If you know what you are doing and can setup you speakers and sound settings right these speaks will do wonders.

Pros: Great bass. Easy setup. Can switch in the audio manager from headset to speakers (good for gaming). Long cables, at least in my case.

Cons: Back side speakers are weak, but still noticeable. Really wish they were more potent. If you turn the bass all the way up there is a rattle, but that is expected for a $100 speaker set with a sub woofer.

Other Thoughts: Did I mention there was a sub woofer??? :D 2 tiny flaws but great job Logitech.

Pros: Great sound plenty of cable to allow for speaker placement

Pros: These speakers are great. I replaced my old z640s I've had for 9 years with these. I play a few different PC games like Guild Wars, GW2, and what not. These pick up every little detail of the game, sadly my 640s did not. Also these do have full surround for music where the 640s pushed everything to the front speakers only.

Cons: No optical input. This would've made these better.

Other Thoughts: Got them on sale somewhere else. Sorry Newegg, but getting them for under $80 total was too hard to pass up.

Again traded out my old 8 year old z640 set and have to say its worth the wait. I would've loved the z906 set but I do not have $400 to drop on a speaker set.

Pros: They look great.

Cons: They sound horrible. It sounds as if you have someone living in your speakers and farting every time the bass hits. I got these because I had the older model before these and they were great. Very big disappointment.

Pros: Simply Amazing Best bank for the bucks.

So i didnt need anything super loud.
Bass is perfect even at low setting you'll still hear the thump.

Other Thoughts: they do have sound. on off button works when it wants, so I just leave it on. we will see how long they last. just very very cheaply built

Pros: you definitely feel a rush of air with the sub, all speakers have subs in the back, all slots in a normal input are used, lots of bass and reverb

Cons: cords are only so long....nothing too bad it was enough wire for me
