5 out of 5 eggsMiracle Speaker

Pros: Originally offered at $60, this 2 driver, tube speaker, with Signal and power provided by a single USB connection, optional 3.5mm input, is a masterpiece of simplicity and functionality.

I use it as my wonderfully unobtrusive desktop speakers. It's not going to be the centerpiece for a house party, but brings comfortably loud listening levels to games, youtube videos, and itunes tracks.

Cons: they STOPPED making it. Unless Logitech plan to make something BETTER along these lines, I sure wish they'd bring this bad boy back.

Other Thoughts: To downplay how good these speakers are would be akin to pooping on a Honda because its not a Lamborghini. If anyone could point me toward a better speaker for the money, I'd greatly appreciate it and place my order today.

3 out of 5 eggsNot for Asus Transformer

Pros: Sounds Great

Cons: usb does not detect for Asus Transformer so you have to plug in the earbud connector for it to work. I have not found an update to fix this.

Other Thoughts: If Asus has any comments or helpful links please tell me

5 out of 5 eggsFair Value

Pros: Quite impressed. Purchased expecting a middling to moderate improvement in sound quality over laptop spkrs. This far surpassed that expectation. Would say quality easily that of fair to decent set of desktop speakers. I'm not one for mega-bass, but do play music that has some deep lows, and have no quibble with how these spkrs handle it.

Cons: The power cord could stand another couple inches in length. Both sides of the connector the fit is a little loose.

5 out of 5 eggsZ305 worth the extra $$ over Z205

Pros: I was debating between the Z205 vs the Z305. I actually bought the Z205 first, but was a little disappointed in the warmth of the sound, although the volume was plenty loud. I then decided to buy the Z305 and was very pleased. The sound was much more for the little extra money. The bass was much better as well as the sound separation between left and right speakers were much more pronounced than the Z205. I would definitely recommend the Z305 over the Z205.

Cons: None so far. I used the Z305 with a 24" monitor and so don't have the problems others have stated as far as the weight of the speakers for laptop screens.

Other Thoughts: I have the sound level at 25% and it is plenty loud.

5 out of 5 eggsPerforms as advetized

Pros: Clips securely and unobstrsively, the USB cord is just the right length to reach the ports on the back of my laptop, the sound is good and very loud, the direction of the speakers appears to be out to the side but it sounds like it's coming right at you, the cord hides nicely and the carry bag is helpful for trips

Cons: If it also had a built-in mic that might've been useful to make it an all-in-one telecommunication booster but honestly I can't think of any flaws

Other Thoughts: I use this every day in the morning to listen to Democracy Now's daily Youtube broadcasts while I make my breakfast.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat speakers for laptop

Pros: easy to use, convenient storage, good sound quality and volume

Cons: none yet

Other Thoughts: Much better volume and range than the stock speakers on my laptop. It clips easily onto the top of the screen without covering the camera. It also has rubber pads that hold it securely and prevent it from scratching the laptop case. The cord stores neatly and tightly in the body and it comes with a nylon bag to store it in. I've had this for 6+ months and I've had no problems at all.

3 out of 5 eggsGood not Great

Pros: USB Powered, Plug n Play, extra volume, small size.
Sounds OK but surely not "Rich".

Cons: Kind of wimpy...for the regular price.
Not as impressive as some of the reviews claim, but not bad.

Other Thoughts: With all the rave reviews, I guess I just expected too much.
I was hoping for a little more bass. This speaker definitely outperforms the stock speakers on my Dell e4300 but that ain't sayin' much. If you're looking for bass and treble, go for something like the Bose Companion series- they're bigger and need a power brick, though.
The Z305 is compact, self-powered, and adds volume to a laptop but $45 may be too much.

5 out of 5 eggsWow! Nice!

Pros: VERY impressed at the first sounds out of these speakers! While they are not going to fill up a room of any size, they produce a warm, natural, and expansive sound for the user at his/her laptop. With the discount code and free shipping, these were a steal! :-)

Cons: The packaging is murder to open!
