5 out of 5 eggsTHX certified, you can't go wrong with the sound

Pros: - Incredible sound quality
- THX certified
- Works as an amplifier for headphones too!

Cons: - Might get a defective set, read other

Other Thoughts: - Make sure you change your computer or audio device to output at 96K minimum, there is a super noticible difference!
- Bought these originally through another website, came defective with a high pitch whine as long as they were powered, regardless of the volume. Refunded and used the money to get them from Newegg and they were fine, but I do see people commenting this issue here, so be aware

4 out of 5 eggsGood sound solid construction

Pros: Easy to set up, power, volume and bass controls on the satellite speaker

Cons: You'll need to use an EQ your sound card settings, there is a gap between the deep lows and mids.

Other Thoughts: Overall a good set of 2.1 speakers for the price.
A special shoutout to Newegg for consistently blowing me away with great service and delivery times, keep up the superior service in a world that just seems to want to take your money for marginal service.

5 out of 5 eggsworth it.

Pros: well built, sound quality is there and easy install and although midrange playback is less then my harmon kardons the overall experience of these speakers is a better feeling. much loudee then my sound sticks and bass is impressive and i did not think the sub would do what it is doing. also shipping only took 3 days and everything arrived in brand new and undamaged.

Cons: cables could be a little bit longer but not really a con for a desktop setup

1 out of 5 eggsWould not reccomend.

Pros: No pros at all.

Cons: Got my speakers this morning in the mail and tried hooking them up and the power button just flickered on and off and made a bass sound every two seconds. I'm pretty angry that I spent 150 bucks on a system that doesn't even work. I'm returning these asap.

5 out of 5 eggsCrispy bass and clear treble.

Pros: Durability, check! Big sound in a small package, check! My favorite part about these speakers is the two inputs. It's not the connections I expected for THX certified speakers, but I can play two sound sources (tv and computer) at the same time without switching inputs... could be annoying for some. Also the clean sound makes every listening experience feel a little bigger. Maybe that's just me going wild with how loud these speakers can scream!

Cons: No digital inputs. How much better would that really be though with a 2.1 system? The mids fall a tiny bit short so I've rigged a solution. My old computer speakers work great as mids and with an adapter I can use both simultaneously. More plugs and wires that way with volume adjusting for balance, but the sound is full spectrum bliss! Another con is the short connections. Most won't have a problem with the typical setup, especially since an extension can be used with the left speaker; the one without the controller.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this as the best bang for you buck 2.1 system. The next best 2.1 system IMO is in the 300 dollar range... swing and a miss!

1 out of 5 eggsRight speaker defective

Pros: -

Cons: Unfortunately the right satellite speaker is defective on my set. They produce a high pitch noise, similar to a dog whistle when they are plugged in to the sub. if I plug in headphones/unplug the main speaker the high pitch noise stops. I am returning these for a replacement 10/02/2016

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Desktop Speaker System

Pros: The Bass you can feel in your chest.
The Midrange is solid.
A 5 star audio system for a small/medium sized room for those wishing to rock out to Zeppelin or game and feel explosions boom at you desktop.

Cons: Do not buy these speakers if you live in an apartment with thin walls. The neighbors will call the cops on a noise complaint unless you are really capable of restraint with the volume control.

The tweeters are a tad weak and get distorted once you go full blast. You can adjust base but not treble (you have to go to your audio player's settings to mess with treble settings which is slightly annoying.) but not a deal breaker

Other Thoughts: These are the best deal for the money if you want 200W of system power at your computer.

5 out of 5 eggsMindblowing

Pros: The sub is Big and powerful, I bought it for my dorm. It is complete overkill! I bearly keep this system above 35 - 45% quality speakers good Mids and Highs as well very impressed as always

Cons: The sub is bigger than I expected, But that's kinda why i bought it

5 out of 5 eggsGreat sound. Lots of base.

Pros: - Clear Sound
- Lots of base, adjustable
- Headphone pass-through provides a lot more power than just plugging my headset into my computer
- Takes up very little desk space for so much sound if you have room to put the sub under your desk.

Cons: - Not being able to crank it up when people are over :P
- But seriously not much is wrong with it aside from maybe aesthetics for some people.

Other Thoughts: These aren't that hard to disassemble if you wanted to do something like make your own casing for them.
