5 out of 5 eggsGreat Speakers

Pros: Great sound. I didnt expect such a deep solid sound from theses speakers. I was looking for something to get the wires off the kitchen counter while listing off the tablet. This fits the bill. Battery is internal and rechargable, no more jamming in 900 AA batteries to listen to tunes. No static or echo while moving speakers during use. On/Off and Volume controls, easily reached behind speakers without moving speakers for quick adjustments.

Cons: None so far

1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: It worked. For 4 months.

Cons: Bought it open box. Piece of junk broke after four months -- just after the 90 day warranty expired.

Aside from that, it was an okay product -- not great. Sound quality was passable; my laptop actually has better quality sound, but not loud enough to watch movies in a group. This was plenty loud.

Slightly awkward -- no real way to mount it anywhere -- either to a laptop or elsewhere. It's designed to attach to the back of a laptop, but it doesn't really work. No screw holes.

Other Thoughts: Bought it hoping to save on cables with my desktop. Mounting was awkward enough that I mostly used it with my laptop (as intended). Wouldn't buy again, unless there was a real deal.

5 out of 5 eggsPhenomenal speaker

Pros: This speaker (I should call it a set, as it's actually multiple speakers) is exactly what it says it is; a great, portable option for phone and tablet mobility. You can take these anywhere, and pairing/connecting is very simple. Battery life is great also; I get 8-10 hours of play and no sign of battery wear. I'm lucky enough to be able to plug it in every day, but I stream Pandora to it for my business and never have to worry about it dying. Optimal range is within 20 feet, but you can get very good quality (no skipping) with 30-35 feet of unobstructed view.

Cons: No cons. Some might be upset that they aren't 5.1 or 7.1 surround, but if you're looking for that, you're going to have to spend more. I wish connecting would happen automatically, but you have to reconnect each time you power it down and turn it back on again. This is minor, to be honest, and the connection procedure is simple.

Other Thoughts: I picked this up at a Target Clearance sale for 25 bucks, and now I can't find it anywhere for less than $100. I wish I had 2 or 3 more just like it; one more for my business, one for home, and one for when I move away to grad school. My girlfriend absolutely loves it, and unless you're a serious audiophile who absolutely has to tweak the bass and extend mid range drivers for enjoyment, you'll love these.

As well as the business, we often take this home and use it for entertaining at barbecues, and the sound is great for such a small package. No wires, no bulk, and you can reposition the unit where ever you want with no fuss. Just pick it up and move it, no hassles.

4 out of 5 eggsThrillman

Pros: This is a great item, great sound.

Cons: This same speaker was found at two different stores 30.00 to 40.00 cheaper.

4 out of 5 eggsCheaper elsewhere

Pros: Solid device, works as expected

Cons: Yet another set of speakers floating around the house. I love Newegg, but this is vastly cheaper ($40 cheaper today) at one of the big box electronic stores (I don't think i can name it in a review) with free shipping, or pickup in store. Even not on sale it is $79 there.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat device

Pros: Wireless dongle, Bluetooth and 3.5 plugin. Compact size, versatility. Convenience, ease of set up, good sound (-not for audiophiles), design (with stash compartment for USB dongle), flip stand, Battery Life goes 5 hours or more.

Cons: NOT for audiophiles, but hey, it is what it is. And it is Great for what it is!!!

Other Thoughts: This is a great little device. I read other reviews before buying that indicated some proplems with set-up.... None here. Does Bluetooth and dongle just fine. And it has the capacity to "wire" to devices as well with 3.5 input. I do not have an iphone (I have Nokia N8 which I also Love) and setting up my N8 to recognize the Z515 was a breeze... Settings/Connectivity/Bluetooth - On/ Search for Devices. Done! Great device, this Logitech! Good sound at midline placement, but again, not for audiophiles.... Not what it's for, it's for convenience, versatility and ease. Still though, the sound is good.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat sounding little speakers

Pros: Great sound from pretty small speakers. Built in battery so no need to feed it AA or other battery types. Easy to set up, less than 2 minutes with the iPad. Comes with everything you need, no need to purchase anything else to use them wirelessly. Also has the ability to connect via mini-stereo so you can use them with any MP3 player. Range of reception was great.

Cons: None found so far!

Other Thoughts: Definitely a must have for iPad!

5 out of 5 eggsThey are great

Pros: Been using these wireless speakers with my laptop and HTC Droid for several weeks now and over a couple trips It's easy, it's reliable and sounds great for it's size. No complaints at all. The USB dongle for laptop use... It's a little odd but... doesn't matter.

Very slim profile and easy to pack when traveling.

Cons: The travel bag is cr@p. I mean, it holds the speakers and power supply, but so would a ferret carcass. And the ferret carcass would do a better job.

Other Thoughts: Very happy with this purchase.

2 out of 5 eggsLook elsewhere for laptop use

Pros: Works as described.
Comes with a dongle.
Sound quality is a little better than typical laptop speakers.

Cons: After playing around with it I got the impression the included dongle is RF instead of Bluetooth. I was thinking to myself, "Why would they include a non-Bluetooth dongle?" Turns out, if you use A2DP/Bluetooth to connect there is a latency that puts the audio out of sync when watching a video. It's not completely obvious, but it really bothers me.
If you use wireless the delay is gone but you have to use the included dongle which is about 3 miles long.

Other Thoughts: I've had it about 10 minutes and I wish I had avoided it.

Also, it gives me this weird feeling when listening to it. It's not the hole-in-my-brain feeling from listening to out of phase speakers, but it's similar. I think it's something about the two channels being so close together and off axis. The orientation of the speaker relative to the lady on the box's picture, for example, would have her wanting to end her life after 20 minutes.

4 out of 5 eggsCreat Portable Speaker

Pros: Small, Lightweight, Ease of connection, Sound is Fair to good. Will fill a quite room with quality sound. Blue thought range is great.

Cons: Power connection could be smaller at the plug, Carry case is an afterthought. Bass could be better. Not going to be a tailgating speaker to overcome outside enviroment.

Other Thoughts: I have used this to connect my Ipad and love it. Once connected it works great. I get in dock my ipad, hit the power button, it syncs and plays music all day. Great for drowning out outside sounds in an office.
