5 out of 5 eggsGreat Speakers

Pros: Amazing sounds, excellent bass, and consistent surround. I've had this for about 6 months now and have no complaints. I got it on sale for $35 dollars and it normally goes for around $100. I am excellently pleased.

Cons: Cord management is difficult. Also the front side speakers have short cords, but it's not the end of the world.

5 out of 5 eggsawesome

Pros: Great price and good sound

Cons: on and off performance on the "surround" aspect, but the built in feature works pretty well on non-encoded sources

Other Thoughts: hard to beat as a refurb based on performance and price. This isn't some audiophile quality set of speakers, but darn sure outperforms like priced equipment.

1 out of 5 eggsWorst speakers ever

Pros: .....very cool looking. I honestly can not think of any "Pro's"for these speakers. actually it astonishes me to think why company would even have these for sale. it should be thrown away.

Cons: i had to RMA this item 3 times, until i couldn't RMA any longer as policy states 30 day exchange..blah blah.. i would say probably 20 out of 30 days these were either being shipped to me or from me. i finally had to settle for the last ones i got which were ok compared to the others.i tested them out for awhile before actually installing them. i got some static, background noise, which was what i expected and i was ok it was tolerable. i used them gently on spare pc in bedroom for about 3 months now they are officially dead. the thing turns on but its hit or miss if any audio comes out. i have done everything i possibly can think of to fix these things i shuffled wires around, put in a different outlet, ive attempted to use them on a htpc ,several cell phones, tablets and 360 console. speakers never worked again. <used 5.1 and stereo in all testing.

Other Thoughts: 1st ones i received way too much static that overpowered any sound. 2nd physical damage.3rd. mediocre and worked for 3 months before taking a dump. i wasted a lot of time with the wiring management and setup which is really upsetting now i have undo everything. it has a sticker states "QC passed" don't believe that. i dont think these were even refurbished at all., these are just broken ones that got returned. then to be resold to unfortunate individuals like myself. PLEASE read the reviews these
ARE really bad speakers!! in conclusion i wouldn't recommend to anyone, they are way overpriced considering the poor quality. and if you actually do buy these get insurance i will almost guarantee they will break.

3 out of 5 eggsmade for a cubical?

Pros: 5.1 under $60, work ok

Cons: way too short cords, no documentation, no support from logitech

Other Thoughts: Bought this to replace a PC 5.1 surround sound system I have had for over 8 years. I figured after all that time tech should have improved. Was looking at the z506 at the $100 mark as a possible upgrade so when I saw a referb under $60, I jumped at it. The product came with no documentation at all (and there is none on the web page). Since I had experience with 5.1, I was able to figure it out, but someone with no experience may have troubles, even though everything is color coded.

The sound is ok. Not great and really no upgrade from my old system (other than all speakers now work, which was no longer the case with my old system). My main concern is with the wires. This uses a cable rather than speaker wire which should make it a bit more durable (I hope) but the wire are way too short. My left from speaker is only 3.5 feet from the subwoofer (where everything hooks in) and the cord is pulled tight. the "rear" speakers could even get close to the rear of my small computer room. And since it doesn't use standard speaker wire, I can not extend it. My guess is that this is made more for an office cubical rather than an actual room. I wouldn't pay full price for this item, but if you can get a good deal and don't mind short wires, go ahead and give this a try.

4 out of 5 eggsfair price

Pros: unlike most people I wasn't looking for window vibrating bass. only required clear sound in general and this system is okay for the price.

Cons: although I'm not looking for a lot of bass the bass unit vibrates heavy so even if I wanted it really isn't there. works okay on a setting of 2.

Other Thoughts: I bought refurbished hoping what ever the bug may have been was fixed. Don't think it was though. I did receive major static in center speaker. I had to carefully adjust the speaker connection until the static stopped. In closing you get what you pay for.

5 out of 5 eggsbest deal

Pros: For the $50 I would defiantly recommend this. Great sound for the price

Cons: Rear speaker cords could be longer to achieve the 5.1 surround but again the price is worth the compromize.

1 out of 5 eggsWorked for a month

Pros: Worked for about 2 months, didn't really use them that much prior to them not working.

Cons: Stopped working, tried to use on different computers and still would not work. Audio cuts in and out. Checked all connections and all were connected fine. Decided to use my old Bose 2.0 speakers instead. Gonna hold off on a 5.1 and see if i can get these replaced.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't recommend, don't waste your money. Buy NIB.

5 out of 5 eggsThese things rock!

Pros: PRICE!!! I got these on sale, and they are soooo worth it! You need to have a nice sound card that allows all 3 inputs. Front, rear, and sub, or maybe it's front / rear, sub , center channel. Just make sure you computer has more than just headphones and mic, or this will not work. My sound card DOES have the needed inputs, and boy oh boy! I play Far Cry 4, battlfield 4, and the sound is fantastic! Some games are better than others, not all games support 5.1, but most do. I cranked these high, and they sound great! A little distortion at max volume, but using a software equalizer, you can fix that.

Cons: no optical output / input

Other Thoughts: Great deal for a fantastic 5.1 set!
