5 out of 5 eggsWe own 5 sets of these

Pros: Best sounding "little" speakers for the money! Paid $100 a set for these refurbished many years ago from Logitech when they were having refurbished sales on them.

Cons: Banana plugs get fouled over repeated use, rendering a great anchor that produces no sound (or just one channel). I have gotten replacements to solder in place but currently have 2 sets out of 5 inoperable until I repair them.

Highs not as good as some super tweeters but overall great sound.

Other Thoughts: We use these all the time for iPods, iPhones, a keyboard, drum machine, and computers. We have a set in each bedroom, on the deck (covered from the weather) as well as office. Even had a set in the living room while recuperating from an illness. They're great in a guest room - everyone can listen to their favorite music without bothering others (as long as you keep it down - these can rattle the house!).

5 out of 5 eggsStill perfect after over a year!

Pros: These speakers are still going strong after over a year of use, and i bought them slightly used on. Some have complained about no mid-range sound from the satellite speakers, you can use the sound manager for your sound card to adjust 3/4 way up on the 200, 400, and 600 Hz sliders to achieve a more rich or "warm" sound. Sub clearly responds to tones lower than 40 Hz. have used them for several action movies at over 1/2 vol level, sounds like ur at the theatre! You can hear every sound the director intended u to hear! Equally comparable to the Bose 2.1 Multimedia sys.

Cons: These speakers probably can be blown; its called over doing it! Lol!

Other Thoughts: Listening to Whitney Houston sing on these is beautiful! They produce every detail of her angel voice! RIP Whitney!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome in every way!!!

Pros: -Sub is epic, shakes whole house even before halfway volume.
-wires are TOO much, they are sort of just right, I guess.
-Wired remote so I can go in my bed and watch a movie with my laptop, got a wireless Logitech M305 mouse as well, so that helps too.
-better than my living room sound system at the moment. Will be upgrading living room system in a year to 5.1
-400watts of power max, thats awesome.
-works with movies, music, and games excellent.
-best system under $150 out there
-BETTER THAN BOSE!!! in your face Bose!!! :P (lol)
-its a Logitech, thats what makes it a positive!
-gonna have this baby for 3-5 fantastic years coming down the road.
-less than a year old still
-got it from newegg
-THX certified
-AWESOME!!!

Cons: -never play the system above half-way volume unless you got the computer turned down a little.
-a little too much wires, just a little much
-a millimeter of the right satellite speakers' grill ripped, just a mm though, not bad.
-too powerful, its unexpected when someone is sleeping, LOL!!!
-the sub-woofer could have been a little more powerful for an 8". Should have been a 10" instead. I guess its just right for the price... I admit (lol).

Other Thoughts: TOTAL EPICNESS!!! This by far the best audio system i got for this price. This overpowers my living room 20 year old audio system, barley though due to the audio system being $1000 back then, Advent speakers and Carver receiver. This Z-2300 is better than that, doesn't get as loud though, but the sub shakes my whole 1,872 square foot house! Its awesome!!!! EVERYTHING on this is the best. Love the wire remote by the way. I use this on my laptop which its really good, i needed it. I'm right next to my bedroom window, so i can show off sometime!!! ITS AWESOME!!! 200watts normally, but 400watts Peak. THANKS LOGITECH FOR DISCONTINUING THESE, Why in the world would you ever discontinue this 400watter for a 200watt-only z623 system? The z623 is awful i read, and + the controls are on one of the satellite speakers, another minus... i love the wired remote on the Z-2300. I guess thats all right now. My friend and me love it, its awesome!!! My parents are amazed too. I love this system. Bestever

5 out of 5 eggsBest 2.1 Speakers at a great price

Pros: Easy to install
Lots of power
Sleek design
Clean sound

Cons: A small step down from my 450W 7.1 system, but not much of a step down all things considered

Other Thoughts: A shame to see Logitech go cheap on their current speaker line-ups. They were kings back in the day.

Pros: Excellent speakers! Excellent, clean sounding bass. Loved these so much on my computer, had to buy a second pair for my TV.

Cons: None at all.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing sound at great price!

Pros: Great sound once mid bass EQ is turned down a bit. once EQ is optimized it has unbelievable house shaking distortion free bass. Clear highs as well. Stereo speakers look nice and have detachable covers, I think they look great with the cover off.

Cons: Limited, low quality input. I think it would have been awesome to have SPDIF or TOSlink inputs, but then again this product is starting to age. Back when it first came out, digital connections were not as 'standard' as they are today with home and computer audio.

Other Thoughts: You can't go wrong with Logitech.

5 out of 5 eggsEverything and more

Pros: Sounds amazing. These are really great speakers and blow everything else in this price range out of the water. Had these speakers for about 4 months still sound crisp as day 1.
Really Loud.

Cons: Can only spread the satellite speakers about 4 feet apart. Not much of a Con but wanted to put one in each corner of the room which isnt really what they are designed for..

Other Thoughts: I've got these in a college dorm so they will get you in more trouble than you. Keep itunes bout half to 3/4 volume level and these speakers all the way.

Like all speakers these do have their limits but I've never pushed them. When it gets ridiculously loud you can tell when they are getting stressed.

Would buy these speakers again and would recommend them to any that wants a good set but doesnt wanna put out for Bose.

1 out of 5 eggsWaste

Pros: Great Sound. Strong bass.

Cons: It fell apart. After watching a movie at moderately high volume it blew itself out and Logitech would not replace them. BUYER BEWARE
