Pros: Makes noise and low cost for amplified speakers. Those expecting something good should buy something better. Otherwise, you get what you paid for.

Other Thoughts: Those that are complaining should invest in something else. For $8.00 shipped, you will not find anything cheaper that is amplified. I don't intend to use this much, it was just to go along with my workstation.

Worked 1 (one) day. Sound quality was poor at the beginning now all I get is static.

Pros: The circuitry is functional and the unit is a bargain for an amplified set of speakers.

Cons: The 650 watt power rating is blatant misinformation and is not based on any legitimate measuring techniques for audio power. P.M.P.O ratings are not to be trusted regardless of circumstance.

Other Thoughts: The unit can reproduce sound down to about 250 Hz. Clipping and distortion happen easily and quickly muddy the sound as volume is increased. Expect the unit to become warm to the touch and possibly release a hot plastic smell if pushed hard.
Internal circuitry consists of a small mains transformer mounted to the inside of the case, along with a rectifier, filter capacitor, and a pair of chip amplifiers with support components on a small circuit board inside the subwoofer enclosure.

Cons: I made the mistake of buying a few sets from one of my wholesalers for sale in my PC repair store.

* 650 watts? I've heard USB powered speakers without a subwoofer that are louder.and have better sound quality.

* About a 50% defect rate. Luckily I could exchange the bad ones locally. Having to ship a set back via UPS would have cost as much as the speakers themselves.

Cons: unit are very cheaply made.unit power supply was bad out of box hummed so loud that there wss no audio output from speakers.

Cons: As soon at they were plugged in the began to make a popping noise. Also the wire had the coding partially stripped off. Would NOT recommend. I could have returned them but they were a gift and weren't even hooked up until 2 months later.

Pros: the only pro is that sound will come out; well, hopefully!

Other Thoughts: mini speakers so horrible they are not even worth hooking up; i threw them out they were so bad. i use the sub (if you'd even call it that) as a single speaker.

if you really believe this is a 650w system for $10 you are experiencing delusions of grandeur.

Cons: Terrible, terrible quality sound. High pitches are often scretchy, like nails on a blackboard. The subwoofer serves only to give really bad electrical feedback in the form of obnoxious beeps and tones if it gets too close to your PC which it must be at all times given the three foot cord. The speakers that came with my three year old Emachines bundle are better.
