5 out of 5 eggsGood Sound, Great Price

Pros: These little guys, as is expected when in my...less than gentle care, have been through much more than typical desktop speakers in one year, and they've come through no worse for the wear. I wasn't expecting much for $25 speakers, but I was pleasantly surprised the first time I hooked them up. For $25 speakers, they sound amazing. Just so you know what they've been through, they've got scratches all over, and the right speaker's stand has broken off, mostly from being transported and occasionally falling off the desk. Along with the subwoofer, these speakers can have quite a bit of bass to them.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for cheap but good speakers these are definitely ones to consider.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat price/value

Pros: Good sound, low price. Easy volume control, desktop aux input.

Cons: Mic jack might be nice on the desktop volume control.

Other Thoughts: I wanted desktop speakers for my primary machine that offered good in-game sound. I didn't want to pay $100+ for wall-shaking bass and surround. These fit the bill perfectly. Quality is much better than most desktop speakers, on desk volume control is simple and handy.

Kids also plug in their I-Pods to play songs at times and use it for various things.

If you're looking for good price/value for desktop speakers, you won't be disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsEffective

Pros: Inexpensive, decent speakers, remote volume control with headphone jack and aux in jack.

Cons: really cheap feeling, why isn't there a protective cover over the exposed speaker?

3 out of 5 eggsHonestly, they are okay.

Pros: First off, let me say this set was given to my by an old roommate. I didn't purchase this set.

It's affordable. If you just want sound to come out of your computer. This is for you. It has a woofer so it pushes out some lower frequencies too for a wider range of sound.

The remote has an Aux in and a headphone port which is convenient. I've never seen that before.

Cons: If you are a music producer, like me. These speakers aren't the best. I don't know the frequency response on these, but my guess is it's quite low. Like I said in the cons, they just make sound come from your computer.

The woofer's volume is in the back of the enclosure, so it makes it awkward to turn down the bass if your speaker is on the floor. Speaking of, I just took the cloth cover off my woofer today and the speaker is only 3" not 4". 1" of the "woofer" is a brace to keep the speaker attached to the enclosure. Kind of a let down.

The remote is EXTREMELY sensitive!!! If you barely turn it up, you'll blow your ears out. This is also a problem if you are a desktop clutterer like me. If something brushes against it, you'll definitely wake yourself up.

Other Thoughts: When my roommate gave me this set. My last speakers had just got damaged and I had no speakers. He gave me these and they've lasted a good, long while. Still holding up nice and can take a beating. Since they were free, I figured I could give a completely honest opinion, not being butthurt by wasting my money.

2 out of 5 eggsDon't buy these if you want good bass or sound,

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: Terrible bass, why would you even include a subwoofer? 5 watts?
The sound is muffled, and is more useful if the only thing you do is facebook games.
I prefer headphones over this piece of junk.

Other Thoughts: This is what I get for buying cheap speakers, so I will throw in another egg to be fair.
I am about to buy some 80 dollar speakers and keep these as backup.

1 out of 5 eggsJUNK

Pros: NONE

Cons: THEY EXIST

Other Thoughts: You know why they are only $25????

Because they are lousy speakers and do not sound good at all.
Anyone that says otherwise doesn't know what speakers should sound like. These are muffled, weak, and have none of what you could call bass.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME- I've tested these out in stores.

Cough up some more dough and don't be cheap. You need to spend at least $50 for decent speakers.

2 out of 5 eggsVolume Dial Problems

Pros: The sound quality is good, and having a headphone and Aux jack is very nice (actually the reason is bought these speakers).

Cons: Volume dial has always had problems and is getting worse. Appears to have a short in the dial which causes sound level to jump and be intermittent. When using headphones adjusting dial causes sound to cutout in one or both sides.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Haven't had these speakers for very long but from what I can tell they are well built, and play music great. These speakers are something I would recommend investing in.

Cons: I'm literally looking at them right now for a con and I can't find a single one.

Other Thoughts: Everyone in the world should have a pair of these.

5 out of 5 eggsGood speakers

Pros: Low Price
Good Sound
Nice look
The separate On/Off switch is a great little feature

Cons: Not as "loud", but looking at the specs you can tell why but for a small room they are perfect and nice clear sound so far

Other Thoughts: Unlike my other speakers these dont have a ton of wires going everywhere which is nice
