5 out of 5 eggs4 months later I have discovered how great these speakers are after realizing that the sub woofer has been tuned for higher more studio quality input like 192000 Hz and not 48000 Hz range

Pros: Lower settings like the normal 48000 Hz range will make audio easily over saturate the bass frequencies and will result in the bass becoming distorted and sounding horrible, but now that I have been using 192000 Hz it has completely solved this problem and all sounds no matter how loud or how much the volume is turned up sound correct and rather impressive I have completely stopped listening to music with headphones, since these sound so good and only use my headset when playing competitive csgo but i find I get better sense of direction ironically with these speakers

Cons: None, as long as you know to use higher ranges like the studio's use like 192000 Hz... (And not 48000 Hz) or you will have to keep the volume very low to keep the subwoofer from becoming very distorted when theres alot of bass like in music or deep sounding voices

Other Thoughts: i was happy the last 4 months with these speakers even with the learning curve when it comes to proving the correct range signel to them, but now i can be proud of them and dont have worry about turning them down all the time when the bass reverbs and can enjoy the sound at full volume now

2 out of 5 eggsWill not last long after warrentee

Pros: Good price.
Great for simple desktop audio.
Mechanical volume and separate bass adjust knobs.
Sub-woofer can be unplugged and not used if desired without cutting any cables.

Cons: Sub started to rumble after about 1.4 years of moderate desktop use (had to unplug the sub and use the speakers them selves), then the regular speakers started to crackle obnoxiously after another 0.2 years.

Other Thoughts: This item now resides in my scrap bin after only 1.6 years or service.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Get ready to turn all your low end levels down to nill, because anything with any bass whatsoever will cause the "subwoofer" to distort and sound awful.

Other Thoughts: Next time I'll spend a bit more.

4 out of 5 eggsgood for normal everyday use

Pros: These are decent sounding low end speakers.
They sound pretty good with proper EQ.
They are also fairly tough.

Cons: Can't handle a lot of low end bass (but can be compensated with EQ)

Other Thoughts: Drop the low end (-6) , slightly raise the mids (+1.5 to 3) , and raise the hi's (+3 to 6) , and these will sound pretty good.
These will work for tight , punchy sound , but not booming lows (they aren't made for that).
Overall , good speakers.
Clear.

1 out of 5 eggsThe cost of cheap materials

Pros: The size of the speakers are quite compact, allowing them to fit almost anywhere on a desk. They also have a pleasing / sleek look to them which compliments modern style work spaces nicely.

Cons: 1) Cheap and shoddy construction
2) The packaging left much to be desired to protect the item
3) The Blue LED light is *intensely bright*. No joke, I swear this light caused a couple headaches
4) The subwoofer never worked, and support forums / google searches didn't solve the issue
5) The right speaker began failing within a few weeks of use and started playing muted and static-y sound.
6) I spent almost as much on shipping sending these headache-causing paperweights back to Newegg for a refund as I did on the speakers, themselves; hooray for losing money on poor quality speakers!

Other Thoughts: Cyber Acoustics seems to be a relatively reputable brand, but this model of speakers is just horrible; I recommend spending an additional $10-$20 on a better model or different brand.

1 out of 5 eggsvery poor quality

Pros: Cost, but only if your lucky enough to get a set that has been well made

Cons: The subwoofer just straight up never worked. I tried activating "Base Management" via the sound control panel properties and windows never detected it. I also tried plugging the subwoofer directly into the subwoofer dedicated audio port, still nothing. After a couple weeks, the right speaker also started giving fizzled / muted sound. Just generally frustrating overall.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk on arrival

Pros: Blue light comes on when plugged in

Cons: Right speaker does not work. Tried to RMA but return shipping costs as much as the product itself.
