1 out of 5 eggsSpeakers subject to interference

Pros: Cheap, with headphone jack & volume control.

Cons: Speakers pick up noise from the hard drive and make annoying sounds, which makes them unacceptable for use with a desktop. They work okay with my laptop which has a hybrid drive.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible Feedback!

Pros: None!

Cons: Just as everyone else has said horrible feedback. Too bad it costs the same to ship back. Waste of money.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap and comes with all the standard things features (volume control etc)

Cons: There is annoying interference with it, even at the lowest volume.I can literally hear it react to things I am doing like moving the mouse, etc.

Other Thoughts: It's power source is usb.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat cheap speakers

Pros: Needed speakers for an old backup computer. Had bought three sets of unpowered Cyber Acoustics speakers years ago that were trouble free. These work perfectly, the sound is OK but not great. They're powered by a USB cable instead of 120V which works fine. They're tall and slender but weighted adequately so they're not top heavy. Headphone jack works OK.

Cons: Marginal sound for music. Volume knob is small.

Other Thoughts: Newegg showed these were sold out after a search. Found mine on the Newegg site on e**y for the same price. Didn't know Newegg had an e**y site. After I bought the speakers, found them on the Newegg site.

1 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for

Pros: Good price, connects to speaker port unlike others that only connect through USB

Cons: Horrible feedback noise. Tried them on 3 different PCs, same results: a high pitched noise coming from the speakers. It's even worse if you plug headphones into the jack on the speaker (which is the very purpose I bought them for - to relocate the jack closer to me).

Other Thoughts: I'll stay away from these from now on, the shipping to return them was about the same amount I paid for the speakers so I basically lost my initial investment.

2 out of 5 eggsEh.. they mostly work

Pros: Plug and play is about all you'll get from these speakers. The audio on them is ok but I didn't buy them for anything other than basic sound, which is what I get.

Cons: I bought these speakers because they were cheap and got what I paid for. The headphone jack in the front of the speaks don't work, there is too much interference/static to able to use headphones on them (luckily my case has a headphone jack in the front). The light on the speakers stopped working after a week of using them. The only way that I know they are on is because of the on/off button being pushed in or out. I've tried unplugging them and plugging them back in and it still doesn't work.

1 out of 5 eggsThese make me cry.

Pros: Somewhat better than stock laptop speakers.

Cons: Really, these things are trash. $8 won't even begin to bring you to decent audio. There's interference, echo, and when plugged into a laptop USB port, they're crackly and unusable. Even with the jack plugged into a near-perfect $140 sound card that an audiophile would love, these still sound terrible. At this price range, that shouldn't surprise me, but even then, this product has nothing but cons. The cables are cheaply made and barely get the signal across, the speakers themselves crackle during periods of inactivity, and provide 32kbps MP3 file quality. Really, for this price range, it wouldn't hurt to work minimum wage for 2 hours and then get some Dayton B652s for $17 more.

1 out of 5 eggsComplete Garbage

Pros: Cheap but definitely not worth it, I think they just put head phone speakers in a cardboard box and painted it black

Cons: Can't say enough bad things. Sound quality is worse then my 10$ head phones, if you turn the volume up (which has a very small range) you can hear crackling and fuzz. Almost broke my CPU the input for the audio started to spark I was afraid it would blow a circuit.

Other Thoughts: I am going to throw these out, buy if you want more garbage. I bought my full computer set from new egg and love it all.
