4 out of 5 eggsGood Enough

Pros: Loud enough
Sound quality isn't that bad
Convenient
Fits where it's supposed to fit and does what it's supposed to do

Cons: I can see the green LED being annoying for someone who doesn't have a door covering their front panel stuff.
Plugs into external audio jack

Other Thoughts: I bought this nifty little device so I wouldn't have to mess around with bringing speakers to LAN parties anymore. The less cords the better. The sound quality is just good enough for this purpose, and it is more than loud enough to distinguish over the multitude of other sounds happening at a LAN. I took an egg off because it routs to an external audio port, instead of plugging right in to the motherboard, which would have been much cleaner. Alltogether, a fine product.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: Loud, better sound quality than I expected for the price, convenient, fills an otherwise empty 5.25" drive bay.

Cons: Green LED light is a little obnoxious, no internal audio connector only a pass-through 3.5mm.

Other Thoughts: Don't listen to the other reviewers, these speakers are PLENTY loud. I have a HAF 912 loaded with fans (2x-200mm, 1x-140mm, 3x-120mm) and I can hear just fine with all fans at full blast. This allows me to always have audio without having to lug around more cables and speakers every time I move my rig.

5 out of 5 eggsperfect

Pros: the speaker holes you see in the front arent even where the speakers are the speakers are normal sized speakers mounted by 3 screws facing up to the top of the housing those holes are simply for sound to be heard and most likely arent even needed seems more for a design and authentic look rather than a actual use. it is about a 1/2 inch shorter than a SATA DVD Burner drive (Lite On Model) and where as the SATA ports of the DVD Drive are aligned to the left the power and audio in ports on this is mounted dead center so it will clear both power and data cables when mounted right below a SATA drive. Using the AUX jack in the front center (closest to the Volume control) cuts off the input from the computer completely. In most cases the Headphone jack will never be needed as most cases already have a front headphone jack. The is plenty loud although the sound quality is about as terriable as USB powered desktop speakers it does work well.

Cons: Could be better sounding for 12V speakers.

The terriable sound could be do to the fact that the speakers are mounted facing the top of the housing. What might have improved quality is making some sort of funnel system that sent the sound DIRECTLY out the grill holes in the front.

Other Thoughts: i bought the CA-1000 (Beige) model.

The included adaptor IS NOT NEEDED this can be powered by the Floppy Drive power connector just as good.

3 out of 5 eggsdisapointed

Pros: well it was not that expensive and it does work easy to set up and install. and it is internal so no need to take up desk space for speakers

Cons: very hollow sound and not very loud at all. it is clear but can hardly hear it at max volume in my gaming rig. of course I do have 4 120mm+ fans running full bore

Other Thoughts: if all you need is basic sound and clear sound they are ok, I did put my headset in the output and it sounded better than this thing, so the throughput on the audio is very good but if you plug in the mic all gone nothing.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat internal speaker

Pros: it was great easy 2 install and was a really loud internal speaker one of the loudest i have ever owned

Cons: none that i can think of

Other Thoughts: i only had mine for like 2 weeks it was because i rearranged the stuff in my case and plugged it in but one of the wires came half out and it burnt out by burnt out i mean it buzzed and smoked then exploded but not a big explosion just a huge popping sound lol

5 out of 5 eggsConvenient,eliminates clutter,works good

Pros: Has volume control on the front, headphone jacks,aux/in jacks etc.Sound is quite adequate even for music although an obsessed audiophile wouldn't feel that they were adequate.I didn't expect high quality sound like external speakers with subwoofers but the quality is good enough for watching youtube, hulu videos,DVD's,playing computer games etc. These are powered amplified speakers although they won't get too loud.
I had no problems at all installing this in my drive bay on my desktop and it came with extra screws to do so.Installation only took a few minutes time.
Uses a 4 pin Molex Plug for power internally.Easy to figure out.The sound input comes by a wire that is routed to your external speaker jack.

Cons: It probably couldn't take severe physical abuse but with normal care one won't have problems at all.If you let children play with this and abuse it yes they could possibly wreck it.External wire to speaker can be a little long and wish it was shorter. These speakers might not be adequate if you are using this in a very loud noisy environment.

Other Thoughts: Reading other reviews on this I was initially skeptical and scared of buying this item.I ordered it anyways (wanted an internal speaker because I move my desktops to other locations often). After using this I was surprised by the other bad reviews.I had a completely different and opposite experience from those with the bad reviews. These internal speakers work quite well for me in my environment (my home, the homes of my friends, family etc).
From what I got this item was quite satisfactory for me and I am giving it a 5 rating although perhaps it should get a 4 rating.I will definitely consider ordering more of this item for my other desktops.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy it.

Pros: None whatsoever.

Cons: Unless you are going to mod your box, don't bother. It is not made to fit anything that isn't completely custom. Costs more to return than it is worth.

Other Thoughts: Very cheaply made.

2 out of 5 eggsOverpriced, low quality

Pros: Easy to use and install, works ok, headphone jack and volume control on front of case. Volume is alright.

Cons: Headphone/mic jacks are loosed easily, and will stop functioning with heavy usage. Sound quality is very poor.

Other Thoughts: Use these in school system PCs, they work fine on teacher PCs, but poorly in computer labs. The teachers who care about audio quality bring in their own speakers. The students break the headphone jacks on the front of these speakers quickly in a lab setting, as they are taking out the headphones and putting them in each class period.

2 out of 5 eggs
Sound quality is really wretched. It's not just tinny and tiny, but grossly distorted.
