Cons: Doesn't sound very good.

5 out of 5 eggsBest $50 (at the time) speakers ever.

Pros: Nice and loud. Deafening in some cases, depending on what you use them for. I have yet to put these in a room big enough to be able to turn everything all the way up and not hurt myself with the noise.

The volume, bass volume, on/off switch, headphone, alternate input, are all on one control that's pretty easy to find a place for on anyone's desk at about the same width as a soda can, and about an inch tall.
The top quarter is a big dial with a lit blue circle in the middle when the speakers are on.

The bass on these is QUITE impressive. If one were to listen to a rainstorm soundtrack or video with the bass all the way up, the thunder would likely startle the animals living in the house. ...It has.

Sufficient cord length. I can't say it's an overly long cord, but it's more than long enough to keep as desk speakers.

In my experience, they're quite durable. The subwoofer has been kicked by my size 14 shoes many times over the years, and the satellites have been knocked or pulled off my desk onto tile many times, with no noticeable problems. One of the satellites has a small rattle in it, but that's about it.

Cons: There's a lot of cords. Each satellite has one cord that merges into one, that plugs into the subwoofer, and the control dial plugs both into the subwoofer, and into the audio source. In my case, my PC.
If you have a lot of wires, consider some management for those, heh.

The audio, at low volumes, can distort slightly, and/or it sometimes won't play the same volume through both satellites. Left is usually louder in that case. At higher volumes, this is either unnoticeable or non-existent.
The same thing happens far worse when plugging in headphones to the control dial. I frequently had to lightly tap on the dial to move it so that I could bump it into equality.

At higher bass levels, the cabinet will rattle a little. To be fair, mine is about four years old now, and that was 3/4ths up the dial and halfway through a Rush drum solo.

Other Thoughts: I love these speakers, honestly. I didn't get them from Newegg, I actually picked them up from Staples for $50 a few years ago.

The inequal audio was only noticeable when I was living with my parents and had to keep the noise down at night, and that's also when I noticed the same problem but worse with the headphones.

I never used the auxiliary input, but i assume it would work just fine.
I love the control dial. It was a gimmick that worked for me, on top of providing excellent speakers.
These speakers are fantastic. I would recommend them for anyone who needs to fill up a room or two with some really good sound.
I'm actually buying another set for my sister, who is just discovering the power of loud music, and is restricted to cheap headphones.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing for the money

Pros: These speakers have amazing sound and they were almost the cheapest I found. No cons whatsoever. If you're looking for cheap speakers that will sound like they are $500, this is for you.

Cons: none.

4 out of 5 eggsworked well for a year and a half

Pros: decent sound for the price.
for more than a year, they worked flawlessly. Which was all the time, I needed them to last for my final year in college. Loud enough to upset the roommates. Good bass/sound is clear enough to hear from the next room.

Cons: -flimsy/light speakers always fall down.
-volume control is too light so it never stays in one place.
-RCA cables are very delicate, speakers can easily become faulty, given enough tug on the cable.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I was very happy with this purchase. just don't expect this set to last more than a couple years, if you are like me and avoid most forms of cable-management. That said, if I took better care of this set (moved them from room to room less) they probably could have lasted 5+ years.

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible sound For the Price

Pros: Just judging on sound alone i give these speakers 5 eggs. (I haven't owned them a long amount of time)

I can honestly say I wasn't expecting much for 50 bucks, but I can see why some of the reviews on here compare these to higher end speakers.

Cons: None so far. My only real complaint is the volume control knob is a touch sensitive.

Other Thoughts: Setup was easy, wires were a nice length, build quality seems pretty solid. All in all, best speakers I've owned. (And by far some of the cheapest as well)

4 out of 5 eggsCyber Acoustics CA-3602

Pros: Cheap with great sound. I'm no audiophile so to me these sound great with a surprising amount of bass. Really easy to setup.

Cons: Despite being really easy to setup, if you connect it directly to the TV you cannot adjust the volume with the TV so you have to get up and walk over to the TV everytime you want to change the volume. I also have a set on my PC and this configuration works much better.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap but good sound quality.
Easy to set up.

Cons: The speaker cords could be longer.

Other Thoughts: If you set the base up against your wall, it makes a huge difference in sound quality.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat sound, not so good durability.

Pros: Great sound for the price with a stylish design.

Cons: After 6 months the volume controller has issues with the left speaker, no or limited sound. Have to adjust the volume controller to get sound out of the left speaker, much like trying to tune in a radio station with static.
