SONY SRSD25/BLK 25w 2.1 Speaker System

Pros: You get what you pay for and these are great value. They are small and pretty powerful. The subwoofer isn't as deep as others but again it is so small.
I needed the sub to be tiny. it measures about 7x5x4.
The only problem is that the wires for the speakers are hardwired to the sub and I want to pass the wires through a small space. I cut them and re-spliced. No big deal.

Pros: Does what it's supposed to do.

Cons: Satellite speakers have permanent attachment to sub which are fairly short and limits placement. Also, mine arrived DOA but 2nd one fine.

Pros: gloss black finish to match my phantom nzxt case i built for a customer.

Cons: sound is garbage. Ive bought several 30 $ systems at walmart with way better quality such as altec lansing. I was really dissapointed especially coming from sony. My iphone puts out bass just as good as this setup, not really but just saying.

Other Thoughts: These would be good speakers for 15-20$

Pros: Good sound. Headphone jack on your desk. Small footprint.

Cons: Too small of a footprint, speakers are tiny.. I was really expecting something at least 0.5" larger in diameter. Speakers are wired to the sub. Distance between speakers/sub is not enough to place it lower than the same desk the speakers are on.

Other Thoughts: Great laptop speakers, with good sound no doubt.

Pros: For speakers this small, they do pack a quite a punch. You can definitely feel the air from the sub woofer. I used these to replace the speakers to my desktop, and it's actually louder than my other ones, but you would expect that from Sony. The sub woofer looks cool with the oval shape and the have a nice gloss black finish. Would highly recommend.

Cons: Gave it a 4 for two reasons: One, the cords are way too short. I have to put the speakers/sub woofer on my desk next to the computer just to plug it up. And two, there really no way to control the sub. I did assume that there was a dial or something. But nevertheless, they are nice speakers and you get more than what you pay for soundwise.

Other Thoughts: I wish I waited to buy because it's actually $10 cheaper right now than what I paid, but I didn't know it would go on sale even more...
