Pros: The reason I bought these was because the speakers cable to the SubWoofer Control Unit had RCA connectors. This allowed me to use RCA patch cables to get some serious distance between the two speakers and locate them on two different shelves.
Subwoofer has eye candy LED lights.

Cons: Losing power will reset your setup when setup was done with the remote and the subwoofer control unit. This was no surprise. I use my PC for volume, balance, etc. so I don't have to goof with setup after I have a power outage.

Other Thoughts: Based upon the price, get these. The build quality is appropriate for the price. The sound quality exceeds what I would expect for the price. I have had these for over 20 months and I am still thankful I bought them.

Pros: Sounded good for the 12 hours they worked

Cons: The sub blew out in LESS THAN A DAY.

Pros: Sound is good. Nice highs and lows

Cons: I have now replaced the left speaker, right speaker and now the left speaker again for it falling silent for one of my customers who listens to classical music. Brought it back to the office and tested and it is dead.

Other Thoughts: I would not recommend this product. I have taken a loss on the speakers. I bought five sets of these. I have used 3 sets now for warranty all within 3 months.

Portable since they hook up to 3.5mm input so long as you have a 3 prong outlet.

Cons: must have 3.5mm hookup to use these.

I use Jriver media player with the rock equalizer and custom room correlation set up.

I do not like the sound I get for music on any other player, Including Foobar2k,VLC,windows media player,Amorak.

If your looking for a solid pair of speakers with a good sounding amp these are nice for the 60$ in my opinion, I have not compared them to anything else in its price range.

The bass sounds good to me and I have had it up all the way. I do not listen to rap though so if you are trying to shake your house I do not have your answer.

Pros: I bought this on a whim because I needed speakers, and these looked nice. After receiving the first set, I was disappointed to find they were defective. Sent them back and swiftly received a second. Set up was easy and I have it hooked to my computer AND Xbox for great sound.The remote is amazing when I'm laying in bed watching TV shows and need to turn it down without getting up. Loss of an Egg is due to the fact that I had to pay outrageous shipping to have it sent back after purchasing a defective.

Cons: The only con was getting a defective right off the bat. The box wasn't in poor shape but when I set them up they didn't work. One speaker would play sound, but the other wouldn't. After troubleshooting, I decided to send it back and received another quickly.

Other Thoughts: For the price, they are pretty amazing speakers. They also look very nice with my all black set up.

Pros: Sounds great for about 10 minutes, deep bass and amazing highs.

Cons: After about 10 minutes of use the Right output develops a hum to it, progressively getting louder as i use it. I tried switching the left speaker to the right output and the hum still comes out of it. even tried another speaker and it still happened. The hum stops after it is turned off for the night and resumes after 10 minutes of use next day. Will not buy from this company again.

Other Thoughts: Only buy if you are going to use it for 10 minutes or play music at full blast so you can't hear the hum.

Pros: If it works it sounds good

Cons: If it does work it WILL NOT last

Other Thoughts: It's cheap and you can tell by the feel. If I touched the AUX connector it caused loud popping sounds and static to come from the speakers and it had to be rotated in the port to stop it. Randomly it would make noise from the speakers that would wake me up since I left it on all the time, I would have to get up and find the remote to mute it or get on my knees to find the terribly located power switch in the back. I got this on sale for $30 so there was no reason to send it back, I planned to use it and treat it well for as long as I could. It died 4 months after use. It's not worth the risk. I would bet good money that you will have to replace it within six months of purchase. This was a live and learn experience, next time I will spend the extra money and save in the long run. $30 every 2-4 months to save money short term vs $100-$150 and good for years? Ill take the latter from now on.

Pros: Does what is says and overall good sound.

Cons: Buzzing coming from the left speaker, the issue originating from the subwoofer

Other Thoughts: As mentioned the port for the left speaker on the subwoofer makes it buzz even when the machine it is connected to is turned off. I had returned my original pair to Eagle thinking I had a defective set, however the ones returned had the same issue, granted not as bad but still an annoyance.
The previous model of speakers I had gotten (also from Eagle) I had no problem with so I had purchased these with the same expectation.
Fortunately for my situation I needed a pair of the speakers alone to replace the ones from my original set that had suffered a terrible fate.

Pros: I'm not a loud person, and I much prefer speakers with definition to their sound rather than sheer volume. With that being said these speakers keep that crisp sound into loud volumes--which is a major plus.

Cons: I did have some crackling in the beginning until the speaker wires settled and I found my perfect settings.

Other Thoughts: For only two weeks of ownership I can't state the longevity of these speakers, but for the time being it's a 4/5 eggs only because of the initial snap, crackle and pop.

Pros: Good sound quality bass to make your neighbors mad in an apartment building Exemplary trouble setting when matched with onboard equalizer in a computer LED display is bonus and does look cool the remote is okay
