Pros: These were good speakers the whole time I owned them, they look great and sounded pretty good. Very nice bass.

Cons: The amplifier gave up completely after two years of use, which isn't really that bad for a lower end system. Ideally it should have lasted longer, because they were never really pushed hard or abused.

Other Thoughts: I still use the two tower speakers with another amplifier.

4 out of 5 eggsAce Man

Pros: Looks great! Sounds good after you adjust the EQ on your sound card given yours provides one. Lots of bass but sounds nice and deep even when adjusted down.

Only 52 dollars for 100 watts.

Cons: Cords on speaker are short as everyone has mentioned but I plan to just pick up some cheap extensions. Nothing to cry about really but don't expect anything more then speakers on desk and sub right underneath them under the desk unless you buy extension RCA cables.

Other Thoughts: Speakers are a lot bigger then I thought, not a bad thing, I like how they look.

Figured I'd take a chance with people have speaker channels going out and things overheating in the sub. Only 52 dollars, not that big of a deal even If i get a year or two out of them. If you want the best spend $140 on the Klipsch pro media 2.1 but if you're looking for something in the mean time or don't wanna spend that kind of money then these are worth taking a chance on. I'm very happy with them so far.

1 out of 5 eggsLasted about a year

Pros: Nice design, .. thats about it.

Cons: No bass control, The on/off switch is very glitchy. After about a year of use they would just randomly shut off. Something inside the sub would over heat and "fizzle" out the audio and it would have to cool down before they worked again.. But, even when they did work, it was only for a few minutes.

Other Thoughts: I never turned them up all the way usually at most it would be at half volume.

2 out of 5 eggsJunky overall

Pros: Good crisp sound while it lasted.

Cons: Dead right speaker channel after 10 months. Buzz when amp is on but computer is off (can use the remote to mute it, but if there's no input signal the speakers shouldn't be buzzing).

Other Thoughts: I got these to get some good sound while I played games, and the bass was decent and the sound good when they worked. After 10 months now, the right channel has gone out. Overall, I don't think these are worth it after going over other reviews and now having a channel blow out in less than a year (and I never crank the volume, so it's not from abuse, just poor quality components).

2 out of 5 eggsHmmm...

Pros: I love the form factor of these speakers, they're sexy.

Cons: The cables are short as mentioned in other reviews, and after about a week the output for the left channel developed a short. If I manipulated the RCA it would work, but they were RMA'd anyway (THANKS NEWEGG!!!).

These things do pick up a lot of interference, my UHF radio freaks 'em out pretty bad.

Also if you don't have any ability to adjust your sound settings you will be overwhelmed by boomy bass.

Other Thoughts: I like these speakers, hopefully this set holds up.

4 out of 5 eggsUse the carpet my friend

Pros: Still clean and clear
Finally gained control over bass
Nice punch on bass and hits
current eq near flat (within about 5dB)
cost is a plus

Cons: straight bass uncontrollable! This probably should not have been a ported sub and a sub dial would have been nice! Paper woofers, but not a big deal: keep them away from animals and satellites off the ground and you'll be good. ps short satellite cables says it is designed for 6ft separation and each cable is about 3ft.

Other Thoughts: When I bought this I thought in the description it said that there was a headphone jack, mine did not: oh well. BIG NEWS!!!! If you have carpet scraps or a bit of foam: turn the sub down into the foam or carpet and you get much more precise bass and it's waaaaaaaay more controllable. No 250hz boominess - yes, that's now a word

4 out of 5 eggsEhhh

Pros: Speakers are fine. Orange. Way neat.

Cons: The RCA cables that come with these are like 3 feet long. You'll need to get some extension cables to position these things. They barely even reach the top of my desk from the floor. Garbage.

2 out of 5 eggsNice Speakers

Pros: they are nice sounding spearkers

Cons: They don't last a year I bought them on 03/01/2011 and they already acting up once in a while they stop working and you turn them off and back on they start working again now that's not even working and the controller is able to turn them down or mute them any more for the price I would pass on these and go with a better pair.

Other Thoughts: look for some either set of speakers these aren't worth the money unless you have money to waste.

1 out of 5 eggsBad Engineering

Pros: When it works, sound is ok for the price, bass is a bit too much, no adjustment to control this.

Cons: Had three different Units, One still working, one came with damaged speakers, one the Prw Amp would not always work.
Took the one with bad Amp apart, found they are using an Obsolete TDA7377 Amp; which is hard to find on-line to replace, second the Pwr Supply is un-regulated and outputs at the Max level per data sheet; most likely will cause failure to the 2 x 30W Dual/Quad Amp, which by itself is a good Amp if you read the data sheet.

1 out of 5 eggs20 Minutes of Base

Pros: For the 20 minutes that the speakers worked the sound was fairly nice. The base seemed a little heavy but there was no way to adjust that on the speakers.

Cons: The speakers didn't last very long for me. After around 20 minutes the subwoofer and left speaker stopped working. They started working for a little bit when I started tweeking the 3.5m chord in my audio jack but that stopped working after another 10 minutes. This seems to happen to a lot of other people so DO NOT BUY.

Other Thoughts: I tried to call customer support but I got an answering machine (first in Chinese then in English). I have sent a ticket to their online support and hope to get some help. Probably will be sending it back though.
