Pros: For 17 Dollars the sound quality exceeds what you pay for. This isn't a regular PC mic, this is a vocal Mic so you have to get very close to have it pick up your vocals but its very crisp and clear with proper deep lows and great mids, haven't tested the highs but i from the sound it would be lacking.

Cons: Might just be the Mic that came to me in the mail, but this ATR1200 has a silver metal protective hash top, not the black top in the picture but that doesn't bother me much. What bothers me is that it only records to the left channel only, not stereo, not even mono, just left speaker/phone/channel. That bugged me sorely. When ever i record my voice i have to split the stereo tracks, delete the right channel, dupe the left into the right. Just stupid. I have 3 different sound cards, and from stock mobo, to my omega, and my xonar it does the same thing.

Other Thoughts: If i could i'd give it a 2.5 out of 5 i would.
It might just be the Mic i got, but if this is the case for all then I wouldn't recommend buying it. If its just mine I would highly recommend this mic to anyone doing low budget hobby/project music or maybe hosting an online talk show.

Pros: Long Cord, Nice Stand, Everything You Could Hope For In A Basic $10 Microphone..

Cons: The Moment I Plugged The Audio Technica In to My Computer However, The Sound Quality Was Horrendous I Would Never Recommend This Microphone To Anyone..
There Was A Lot Of White Noise On All Of My Recordings, Plus The Microphone Seemed To Pick Up More Background Noise Then Me Shoving My Face In This Dreadful Piece Of Equipment.. I Bought It And Immediately Returned It..

Other Thoughts: I Would Rather Burn This Microphone Then Return It But I Didn't Think About It At The Time..
