3 out of 5 eggsNot as good as I hoped

Pros: The price; Volume control, decent sound, definitely nothing special.

Cons: The earcup is smaller than I wanted. It does not fit completely around my ear; and I have average to small ears. The fit is tight, which would be ok if it didnt cause the cups to squeeze right on my ears. After 5 minutes my ears are starting to get sore.

Other Thoughts: I wish I had bought a more comfortable set.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good sound, nice look, cheap.

Cons: Inline volume control is horrible. You have to move it just right so audio comes out evenly through both sides, and if it even gets touched, it'll shift all the volume to one side and ignore the toher side until you reset it.

Other Thoughts: All in all, an average pair of 'phones. I'm going to a different brand pretty soon, as the quality of these suck.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Headset

Pros: Great sound. Very crisp in the upper-mid ranges, unlike what some other reviewers said. Bass is awesome. If I turn the bass up on my volume control these things RUMBLE! Long cord is great. Very nice volume adjustment on the cable. I can turn these babies up and not hear a hint of distortion.

Cons: Well, like other reviewers said...these things are TIGHT! I have to take them off after 1-2 hours of use because my ears are killing me. But in a couple of weeks, I should be able to get used to it.

Other Thoughts: Overall, solid headset. Oh and on top of that, it got here in 1 day! YOU ROCK NEWEGG!

3 out of 5 eggsBroke In less than a month

Pros: Great Bass and comfortable feel. Relatively cheap for great sound. The volume control thing was handy...but do read on.

Cons: They broke in less than a few weeks. The right ear went out then the whole thing cut out. The volume control was another place for something to break. I am furious with this lack of quality and hopefully newegg will understand and right the situation!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome for the price

Pros: -Soft, squishy pads for the ears and top of head
-Nice cord length, perfect for most uses
-In-line volume on the cord with a clip
-They sound pretty great, especially for gaming
-They adjust/fit nicely, even on my big head
-Decent quality, especially considering the price

Cons: -The ear pads don't completely engulf you ears, like monitor headphones would
-Cord comes in on the left side vs. most I have owned in the past came in on the right side (minor con)

Other Thoughts: I purchased these for gaming and they don't disappoint. They are an excellent value and do what they should. For music, out of curiosity, I tested them with Beethoven's 9th, Final Chorus and the bass response seems to be fine, i.e. no crackling. Now, I am listening to the "Lobby Scene" from the Matrix, which is about as much bass as I listen to and they are keeping right up. Two thumbs up.

3 out of 5 eggsYou Get What You Pay For

Pros: Appealing design, these headphones look like they will rock.

Cons: They are muffled sounding, esp on the mid and higher ranges. Altough not extremely bad sounding, they are not for discriminating ears.

Other Thoughts: But whadda ya expect for less than $xx?
