Utter junk. Avoid like the plague
Pros: run off USB. clip together magnetically.
Cons: Atrocious sound. They sound worse than the built in speakers in my Acer TimelineX laptop.
Other Thoughts: Bought these at a local electronics retailer cause they were $4 on sale. That's $4 I'll never get back again. These things were absolute garbage. Tried them once, found out the sound was worse than the built in speakers, packed them up & tossed them in a closet never to be seen again until I throw them in the garbage.

Pros: Easy plug and play technology. Not much else.
Cons: Takes 4 Triple A batteries and sucks the life out of them very quickly. The magnet holding the two speakers does not hold them together very firmly. The Audio Jack cable is shorter than my right forearm and the USB jack isn't much longer. For $15.99 you pay for what you get. Not an ideal buy, wouldn't recommend it either. From someone who is an extreme techie, take it from me. It's not what you want.
Other Thoughts: Give a whirl if you must, I bought this as a replacement for my car since the antenna broke and I wanted something to play my Walkman off of. In short, it doesn't pump out the volume I was hoping for. Getting a MP3 cassette to round out my final problems.
