5 out of 5 eggsAwesome for the Price!

Pros: For the price, they are great! Volume is strong and sound is clear. If you are a true audiophile, you might be disappointed, but for budget speakers you can't go wrong here. I use them on my desktop for web browsing, videos, and casual gaming.

Cons: Only con is that the volume control is on the bass speaker. For a few dollars more, they sell a version with a wired desktop remote.

Other Thoughts: The casual budget-conscious user won't be disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsGood for the price.

Pros: Good sound for the price.

Cons: I feel like an idiot, of course most speakers would have the volume on the desktop speakers not on the bass. That's not the case with these. I was so mad that there was no volume control and the speakers were not loud at all, but then I found it.

Other Thoughts: I wish I could delete my first review where I gave 1 egg. These are quality speakers for the price.

1 out of 5 eggsNo volume control / Not loud

Pros: Cheap? Fast shipping!

Cons: No volume control. I see people complaining about no bass? What about sound. I bought these to replace speakers that I bought for about $9, which may be distorted but they had a volume control and were a lot louder than these. I normally don't write reviews and hardly ever give less than 3 eggs but this is disappointing.

2 out of 5 eggsToo small

Pros: Small design. Good for limited spaces

Cons: No bass. Its nearly non exsistant. And the highs do not get very loud. This is more of a temporary item.

Other Thoughts: Get something better, totally not worth $25.... More like $10... It works and has good sound at low levels, but that's it.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad for the money

Pros: Cheap
Easy to hook up
Volume range from very quiet to relatively loud

Cons: None at this time

Other Thoughts: These will work well for me. I would not recommend them if you need speakers for your primary entertainment source i.e. if you primarily listen to your music on the device you are getting them for. Of course if you are shopping for entertainment center style speakers I would spend more than $25. Good for the price and get the job done.

3 out of 5 eggsWorks for the price

Pros: Cheap.
Works.

Cons: -NO Bass at all
-Volume knob is on the sub
-Power switch is on the BACK of the sub
-Super bright LED on the sub makes me have to switch it off each night.

Other Thoughts: Why cant the power switch and volume knob be on the speakers that sit on the desk? This is very frustrating. If your not going to put the sub up on the desk next to you I wouldnt reccommend this.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Set for the price.

Pros: The speakers have good sound for the price. Better than what you would get from a 2.0 set in the same price range. They are a small set so they would be great for a limited space. They are surprisingly loud for the size. the cords are a nice length. and the right and left speakers are interchangeable thanks to the plugin setup in the back .

Cons: If your expecting great sound why are you buying a twenty dollar speaker set? I believe in saving money but if your a music lover and you use your computer for your main music listening pleasure you are just going to have to spend more money than this or you won't be happy. The blue led on light in the front is very bright so you might not want to point it right in your face. Great for general PC and internet use.

Other Thoughts: I did not buy these for my computer. I bought them to use with my music player at work. I have a sound card and a 500 watt surround sound system hooked up to my computer. I also have a wireless surround sound gaming headset by Creative Soundblaster for when I don't want to bug other people in the house. If you love music or are a serious gamer spend the money to a descent sound set up and you will be way happier. Expect to spend around a hundred dollars to get into great sound and do your research because price isn't everything. I usually try to find user and pro review articles that compare several brands in the category I'm looking for. If your looking for great music or gaming sound these are not the droids your looking for.

2 out of 5 eggsWell they make noise alright...

Pros: Has long cables so is easy to place speakers separately.

Cons: Zero bass handling ability
Crazy bright blue led

Other Thoughts: Honestly I didn't expect too terribly much but assumed having even a smaller subwoofer would create the ability to handle low music without major distortion. Great for game effects and general computer use but not for music.

5 out of 5 eggsGood speakers, bass is weak though.

Pros: - Cheap
- Cables are relatively long: each speaker has its own cable you plug in the back of the subwoofer, each of those cables is about 42 inches long you can place the speakers 70 inches apart from each other with the subwoofer in the middle.
- 30 Hz by 20 Khz, it says it on the box.
- Lifetime warrant.

Cons: Weak bass.

Other Thoughts: Bought these today, so far so good.
