Christina C 1/18/2013 12:07:18 PM Tech Level: 3/5 Ownership: 3/5	Rating: 5/5Lovely speakers with nice featues Pros: I got these speakers as a gift for Christmas, and I don’t think I could have picked out a better pair, myself! They’re a very sick, modern design in white and silver, and they complement my (almost Mac-like) keyboard and computer case very well. The Volume controls blend beautifully into the design, although this is at the cost of a knob (see Cons for more info). These speakers are USB powered, so it means you only have one cord running to the back of your computer and no cord to run to a power outlet. This is great news for those that hate cord clutter, are using laptops, or don’t have a lot of outlets nearby. As for sound… I’m not an audiophile, just a casual user, but these sound good to me! The volume can be whisper silent, or louder than I can stand. Cons: One thing I had to adjust to was that the volume controls are buttons on the side instead of a knob on the front, and there is no Power button (there is, instead, a Bass button). After having these a little while, I’m now used to controlling the volume and mute with my keyboard shortcuts, as it’s a little unwieldy trying to press the buttons on the speaker without moving the speaker, with one hand. However, the lack of knob is what adds to the stylish, clean lines of the design, so it’s an acceptable trade-off for me. USB power may be a downside for those that don’t have a lot of USB ports to spare.
