Other Thoughts: There is thin layer of pad on the bottom of the speaker which covers two screws. You don't need to remove the entire pad in order to remove them. Just find the exact location of the screw hole then place your screw driver to remove it. It will come out with no problem. After that, do whatever you are pleased with LEDs.

Other Thoughts: I am an armored truck driver, and our vehicles don't have any radios. I decided to pick up a pair of speakers after using my phone's integral (albeit lackluster) speakers for too long. I needed something USB-powered so I could tap into my 12V to 5V USB adapter.

First thing I noted when I fired them up was the feedback! Yikes! It takes some playing with the volume knob to make it go away. You'll notice it in quiet spots during songs. I'm listening to a Maxcene Cyrin piano cover of The Pixie's 'Where is my mind', and upon every rest the feedback noise is apparent. I have tried a few devices and suspect that this is a hardware issue.

I work in a very noisy environment so this won't be an issue for me. Keep in mind that these are not $50-100 speakers. They are $25. They are still more powerful than any other speakers in this price range. This may be an issue with my particular set. I will decide later if I want to RMA for a replacement.

Pros: great sound. cant believe how nice the mid sounds.

Cons: cant turn of blue led lights. they are bright

Other Thoughts: These are fantastic little speakers. If you flip them over and run your thumbs hard across the base, towards the back you'll discover where the two screws are holding the base on. Removing that will expose two LEDs. I covered them with black electrical tape, put the bases back on, and am now completely satisfied.

Pros: Great sound in compact size

Cons: blue light ridiculously annoying but you can get rid of them easily, also no off switch but that's not a big deal anyway.

Other Thoughts: After you test them I recommend you IMMEDIATELY flip them over, remove the 2 screws on each one holding the base on, pinch the little demonically bright blue lcd's to death, reassemble and then love these little speakers like I do!

Other Thoughts: I wanted something that would sit nicely back behind my keyboard and in front of my monitors here at the office. These worked great! Plenty of bass for what I listen to (metal, classical, country). Love the shiny black plastic as it matched my monitors too. For $25, free shipping AND a free keyboard?! All day long!

Other Thoughts: I'm very happy with my purchase, since I needed something that was going to be powered by a USB instead of a power plug. Im not a pro for sound, but these are pretty good according to me.

Pros: Great sound quality for size.
LEDs are well lit but not too bright.

Cons: The only real con to this set of speakers is when I plug them in via USB for power, and power my pc off, the speakers make a loud static noise. Only when it's connected to pc and pc power is off. I have researched on the problem but no solution.

Other Thoughts: My tower is pretty close to my desk and very easily accessed so I unplug my USB port to the speaker when I turn the computer off. It is somewhat of a hassle but I really like the quality and the LED. Plus by the time my honeymoon phase wore off and got tired of it I couldn't return the item. I can live with it till I decide to buy a new set of speakers.

Pros: Dual driver design "2 speakers in each housing" A bottom firing woofer and the forward mids sound awesome once you get your audio settings the way you like. Price for quality is awesome, the led accents are perfect. Sleek design and compact size...overall a great set of speakers.
