5 out of 5 eggsThese are top flight speakers

Pros: Crisp sound and very good highs and mids. The subwoofer is hot and powerful if you don't have any neighbors. They beat my Klipsch 2.1 PC Speakers and Klipsch knows how to make speakers. But for PC speakers the Corsair are extremely hard to beat!

Cons: Expensive side of the road.

Other Thoughts: I would really recommend these to all my friends who are even close to audiophiles.

1 out of 5 eggs  never again

Pros: Is look like a nice set of speakers and it promised to be a great investment. The overall quality looks excellent I can tell. If you have an iMac or a Pc you will have the perfect convention of speakers and they look great.

Cons: They arrive in apparently great conditions. The box was in excellent condition in general. Unfortunately the left speaker never work the way it was supposed to. Corsair Custumer service is not the best and I was not willing to go trow trouble shooting and stuff. I send it back for a full refund.

Other Thoughts: Trust me when I say this. The only speakers out there that worth the money are the Bose Companion 5. Yea they are expensive but at the end of the day you get a set of great quality speakers with a beautiful lows, mids, and highs, and most important they will work 100% of the time.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: No distortion with high volume.

Good frequency range.

Many options to configure to your preferred listening experience for various music genres, movies and games.

Cons: The remote is wired to the back of the unit with a relatively short cord, which sort of defeats the purpose of having a remote in the first place.

Other Thoughts: I would have preferred the settings to be configurable from software instead of limiting it to the remote but I guess it's to maximize compatibility since it eliminates the need for drivers entirely.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice 2.1's

Pros: I got these to replace a Altec Lancing 2.1 about 10 years old. I had them delivered to work and I unpacked them. Got them all hooked up. These things will serious kill your office working environment. I loaded up Battlefield 4 and the bass shockwave..... is wow. No noise hisssss. Just the music or game pounding through these things. And I do mean pound! It's nice to have a quality 2.1 set again.

Cons: I did have to remove the speakers from my work environment and bring them home. When my son comes out of his room complaining I tell him its an 80's thing

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Loud and nice sounding whilst they worked

Cons: Almost immediately volume started adjusting by itself, getting quieter and quieter until almost inaudible, then they would go loud for a bit, then quiet again. Could never get them to work right.

Other Thoughts: My LED's started going out on my Corsair K95 keyboard within a year of ownership, now my Corsair speakers are DOA. I am starting to seriously question Corsair's quality control.

5 out of 5 eggsBest

Pros: Clean, Accurate, Powerful, Great looks

Cons: Keep subwoofer away from feet, can damage the box over time.

Other Thoughts: These have gotten me into trouble in my dorm, but I don't care, I love them, for any kind of music, movie, or game. They always deliver great sound and when you want to turn it up, it delivers. Going to keep this set for a long long time.

5 out of 5 eggsLove em' Recommended

Pros: I really love how these speakers reproduce sound! Hands down the best 2.1 speakers my ears have ever had the pleasure of hearing. The clarity of the sound through this systems separate amps really makes a difference. Corsair has set the bar high with these speakers. The control fob is really snappy, my old Logitech's 5.1 fob was sluggish to respond and would always over or under correct in the settings. Also the built in audio processing is a nice feature set that works well. I love the FTC rated continuous RMS power, my old Logitech system would really hit hard but it would overheat and I could smell it burning after a half hour at high volume. I had these cranked for hours and no odd smells or sound distortion. I have no regrets buying this system and would purchase it for another computer.

Cons: Its not 5.1 but for a 2.1 system it exceeds expectations.
No fiber inputs but I don't use them.
A bit pricey but you pay for quality. Too many times I've wasted money on cheap products that are sub par.

Other Thoughts: I want this in a 5.1 system, Please Corsair! =)
It would be nice to see that 8 inch sub thrashing around outside the box but i suppose it was designed to be totally enclosed in the box. Heck if its needed for quality you guys made the right choice. Overall sound quality is superb but not so ascetically flashy. I think anyone would want a system that functions at a high level rather than one that looks flashy and sounds bad.

5 out of 5 eggsBig bark and bigger bite

Pros: The speakers are nice for their size and do very well for a two speaker set up, the sub woofer is mostly balanced and can adjust nicely to different bass. Overall happy with purchase.

Cons: Texture layer on sub woofer box peels slightly on the edges if you keep messing with it but nothing to dock an egg off for since you shouldn't touch it much once calibrated and placed into the sweet spot.

Pros: Clear sound, really clear
Very powerful bass, my computer's volume is at 40 and it feels like an earthquake.

Cons: Subwoofer is gigantic

3 out of 5 eggsGood speakers but poor support policy

Pros: These are good speakers. They sound good. I think they sounded a little better after breaking in so don't judge them on your initial hearing. The control pod is very handy. I like them a lot.

Cons: One speaker now drops sound often now. I think it has to do with the cables. Corsair is willing to replace them which is good but their support is terrible.

They usually take 5 or more days to respond to a question. I've been waiting at least 2 weeks since I requested a cable and they haven't shipped it yet; they said they can though.

Other Thoughts: Good speakers. Worst support response time I've ever seen.

If the cable connector is wearing out because the weight of the cable is pulling on it too much, they should put a hook on the speaker to take the weight off the connector. Silly issue.
