Pros: Compact design, saves lots of desk space compared to a conventional flatbed scanner. Seems pretty good for scanning invoices, receipts and general paperwork. Scanning speed is decent for the price. The paper entry and exit trays that flip out will keep dust and dirt out of the scanner when not in use. I like the overall design. Scanner is TWAIN compliant so you can use it with other software packages.
Cons: The software provided is so-so in my opinion, but it works.
Other Thoughts: The software provided includes a business card reader, graphic capture software, and an OCR program. The OCR program is the only one of the set that allows you to make PDFs. You can only save PDF's or word documents that have gone thru OCR conversion. The OCR conversion seems decent but its not 100% foolproof(probably the case with most OCR packages). No software provided will allow you to save to PDF as a complete graphic. I probably will pickup some 3rd party software for this scanner. Have not tried any color scans yet.
