Pros: Relatively fast auto doc feed/read; better auto doc feed compared to Visioneer 8650; good scan of blue colors (older scanners had difficulty with blue); good scanner software for use in 3rd party apps (e.g., Acrobat - you only need to install provided scanner driver, not Paperport app); clean design/look; better flatbed top hinges - smoother operation than 8650.
Cons: Don't use the disk provided; instead download the drivers at the Xerox support website - all the drivers have been updated since the CD's were made.
Other Thoughts: Superb + economical scanner for docs and images up to 600 dpi
