5 out of 5 eggsno problems for me

Pros: It works great when installed properly. For Windows XP, install the driver only ... not the software.

Cons: Do not install from software provided ... it causes conflict with windows XP and will not work.

Other Thoughts: FOR XP USERS
You will need to just pop in the network card, at which time you'll get a message on windows saying a hardware is detected, do you wish to search for drivers for it? Say yes, then pop in the disc provided... then have windows search for the driver in the cd drive. Or if you've downloaded the driver from manufacturer's website, then search for the driver in that folder. Never run setup from the software, it does not work.

My network card is running great ... even on a 400mhz Pentium II laptop. So I don't doubt the quality of the product... just the software isn't tested properly before it was packaged for sale.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I've had this model for about 4 months and it has worked flawlessly.Has connected to speeds up to 270 mps but the average seems to be 120 mps or so. Would recommend buying revision 2 or higher of this router. Several people have had issues with the first version .

Cons: Range is only average, so don't expect miracles at long distances. You have to look for the the second or third revision of router as the first version does have issues. (The earlier version should be out of the retail pipeline by now, so even this should not be an issue.)

Other Thoughts: This has been a very good router for the money. Would also recommend upgrading to Network Magic Pro as this router only comes with the trial version of that software. It's well worth the money if you have several computers on your lan to maintain.

5 out of 5 eggsWPC300N-BP

Pros: Works Great. Connects everytime and stays connected at 300 mbps, and the router is in the celler 1 floor down.

Cons: Don't forget to install software 1st.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent for the price

Pros: Fast...It says I'm getting 270mbs

Cons: It gets hot.

Other Thoughts: I had trouble connecting to routers using WEP 64bit. It would drop the connection all the time. I have WPA2 set up in my house and it works fine with that.

5 out of 5 eggscheap AND works!

Pros: Set this up easily on my old dell inspiron without any problems. Be sure to download all the new drivers and everything before you plug it in. don't use the CD that comes with it, just really a waste of time since you're gonna put in the new driver and software anyway.

Cons: the wireless management software that comes with it is pretty corny. don't bother with it.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Adapter

Pros: Inexpensive. Picked it up for $16.99 on sale to replace my aging Linksys 54G model. Still would have purchased at the higher price but I was holding off since I did not "need" it. This one picks up a couple local routers that my previous one did not. Very good signal strength from what I can tell so far. No problems with the router on the second floor and the laptop in the basement.

Cons: The packaging was HUGE. Not really a con on the product though it was so big it was humorous.

Other Thoughts: I have had the Asus WL-500W "N" router for a while. The laptop's older "G" was I think slowing everything else down when connected so I upgraded to this so now all devices expect my PSP are "N" based. This card hooked up to my Asus router without a hitch.

4 out of 5 eggsGood-but be careful

Pros: Wireless-N, Fairly inexpensive, Trusted brand

Cons: After installing the drivers from the cd and rebooting, I could not access the password field for the WPA2 security. I used WPA and to my chagrin, the connectivity REALLY sucked. I went back to the controls and changed it WPA2 with all of the same settings and !***BAM***!, awesome connectivity, super-fast speeds and a big smile.

Other Thoughts: Do not buy this product if your router does not support WPA2 or you will seriously regret it.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap, it works!

Pros: I couldn't get over the price for a Linksys Wireless N PCMCIA card, and I knew I had to buy it. I upgraded from a Linksys WRT54G to a WRT310N and my internal Intel Pro wireless B (2200) card kept disconnecting when under load.

This card does not disconnect. Internet speeds are slightly faster and file sharing is definitely fast!

Cons: The Linksys software usually sucks for other networks, but works fine for mine.

Other Thoughts: If I had to buy it again, I would. For my current topology and LAN configuration, this card is perfect.
